mitchcumstein1: wynswrld: And that is why the insurance always goes on Arsenal. Even the draw is unlikely now.

If it's one thing this match has shown over the last few years, is that this is nowhere near done and dusted.

Fair point.

I wish Pearce Moron would choke on a fat one and stfu about Arsenal.

But the FSC people are right. Arsenal's defense is shambolic.

I hope this news about a bid made on Arsenal by a consortium from the Middle East is true. Oh man I hope this is true. There's no reason Kroenke and the rest shouldn't accept their offer, either. They get double return on their investment, which is what they're here for anyway. Please let it be true.

I am thinking of joining Twitter only so that I can tweet him that he's a c*nt repeatedly.

What is in the shiat was Vermaelen doing on the second goal?

AND STFU PEARCE MORON PLEASE!!! *mute*

2013-03-03 11:55:39 AM
Yes, Spurs fans were chanting "Arsene, we want you to stay," and Arsenal fans sang back "he's won more than you."

2013-03-03 11:56:33 AM
I was actually hoping Arsenal would win so Liverpool would jump Tottenham... So much for that,

Who knows, this guy is the least inspiring captain we've had in ages. Give the armband to Wilshere already, please.

Arteta for me, Jack isn't quite ready yet.

Arteta should be playing for someone else

You could tell that goal was going to come. When they panned and showed ade was marking Mert and Mert ran away from him pretty far I knew that was going to happen. Poor marking.

there's the Spurs defense I've come to expect.

Me neither. He's one of our best signings of recent years. And he cost us less than Gervinho.

He's good value for money, but we should be spending more money. Fabregas and/or Song should never have left

Hah, Szsz is not trusting his defense to deal with runners anymore... sweeper keeper activate.

I don't think there was any way Arsenal was keeping Fabregas from going back to Barca.

And I have no issue with Song leaving, especially for the money they got for him. What I have issue with is not then taking that money and reinvesting it.

2013-03-03 12:17:00 PM
Jenkinson off for Rosicky?

Exactly my point. Nothing against Arteta, but he's in a string of above-average talent we've had to settle for

Absolutely agreed, which is why I hope that Middle Eastern consortium news is true and has legs. I want to be able to buy players, ffs. But for now, I'm happy with players like Arteta. If we had 11 players like him, we'd be way better off than we are now.

I agree with you, but in my mind, Aretata is exactly the type of player you need in your squad. Older, a calming influence, a professional, and a leader.

I'm sure Arsenal would have figured something out last year without him.  But it did seem that they started playing a lot better once he got there.  He really stabilized a difficult situation.

I feel the same way. Fabregas was going regardless. As much as he loved Arsenal, the lure of his boyhood club was too much. And Song was the last player being represented by agent Darren Dein, all of whom left Arsenal after prolonged, distracting sagas in the media. I'm quite sure that would have been the case for Song as well.

2-1 Spurs is a great scoreline for my preds, although I'd prefer 3-2 for a perfect.

Nope. Everton draw. I was always pretty sure of a Spurs win

I called a 3-1 Spurs win, no insurance. Would be happy to drop points in the FFPL by being wrong, though.

Draws looking very common in our mix. Bankers present about 40% of the time.

One of my favourite meta-FFPL game is looking at other people's predictions and wondering What the Hell Where You Thinking? The other meta-game of course is What the Hell was I Thinking

I play the latter a LOT.

Looks like Dembele twisted his ankle or knee pretty good there.

2013-03-03 12:46:45 PM
Probably 4-5 minutes added. Anything's possible.

I have 2-2. Not only hoping for perfect but the late goal would be super exciting and holds both teams to only 1 pt.

6 minutes added. Shows what I know.

6?! I don't have enough nails left for 6 minutes!

2013-03-03 12:49:51 PM
Have a perfect if the score holds. We'll see, probably just jinxed it. I hope Dembele isn't seriously hurt, had a good match.

2013-03-03 12:50:39 PM
Pissing away all this added time with terrible communication and 50-50 skyballs.
