Sunderland pulls one back.

LucklessWonder: After enough weeks of issues, I FINALLY just managed to log into the FFPL. I see that I've maintained 15th despite my absence. I had enough time to pick  games, so laught at this:

Wigan 1 - 2 Liverpool (Banker/Insurance)
Tottenham 1 - 0 Arsenal
Villa 1 - 1 Man City

And, as I'm sure you're asking: "But what about the MIGHTY Oxford United, LucklessWonder? How did they do?'

They're currently 11th in League Two, 9 points out of the play-off spots and are currently drawing 1 - 1 with 2nd placed Port Vale after 32 minutes of play

I'm not partaking in the FFPL, but I must say, YOU ARE A BRAVE SOUL for putting banker/insurance on Liverpool....

Anyone who does the Banker/Insurance double is being a pussy. Got to take a walk on the wild side people!

In other completely only important to me news, I've just secured promotion for Fleetwood Town to the npower Championship in FIFA13! So proud of myself.

OH I mean to say, MLS starts this weekend!!! I'm doing MLS fantasy and am willing to set up a league if anyone is interested. DC United travel to houston and play on NBC Sports Network at 8PM ET. LA host Chicago on UniMas tomorrow and Portland host NY on ESPN2 tomorrow as well. There is an all Canadian affair on TSN today when Vancouver host Toronto.

I'm going to start letting my wife pick the games. She can pick them based on team colors, or who has cuter forwards, I don't know.

All I know is that I suck when I pick them.

Fellaini!

2013-03-02 10:44:42 AM

Stimied in a Rut: Oh also I had some pretty crazy dreams, but one of them involved Everton being up 2-0 at half time with Fellani getting both goals.

Your dream was half right it seems.

Given the matches left it was either them or Arsenal. Lesser of two weevils..

Kagawa breaks the deadlock! United up 1-0 right at the stroke of half time.

Alright all, I have created a FARK MLS Fantasy league. Scoring will start in round 2 so you don't have to worry about this week and can just use it to practice.  Head to  http://www.mlssoccer.com and you'll have to create an account or log in with some social media account (I used twitter). Once you do that, just click on fantasy or head here:  http://fantasy.mlssoccer.com/ and you can join the league using the code below. My email is in my profile if you need any help and the name of the league is FARK Fitba.

Being drunk is doing something.

Pienaar has me sitting on a perfect with Everton.

Badass. I thought I was hot shiat getting Molde and Hoffenheim to let go of Gatt and Gyau for cheap while I was still in League 2. Those two, plus Nagbe and Mattocks have been my rocks for the last two seasons.

2013-03-02 11:33:13 AM
So...Swansea/Newcastle isn't going over 2.5 goals is it?

*tears up betting slip*

SESSEGNON!

Got my draw incoming there.

I should lay off the vodka. Wayy too drunk at the moment.

/he says as he pours himself another vodka and cranberry

I was seriously about to ask if anyone else was drinking as much as I am this early in the day.

/Mostly just to stave off the world's worst hangover

2013-03-02 11:38:45 AM
Kagawa puts me on another perfect. Hooray!

2013-03-02 11:41:07 AM
DAMMIT SOUTHAMPTON!!!!! WHY?!?!?!?!
YOU LET JAY BOTHROYD SCORE ON YOU?!??!!?

This is the Premier League.  You might want to keep the scotch tape handy.

2013-03-02 11:45:46 AM
Swans ruin my draw but reading restore my goal difference. Still a good day today.

2013-03-02 11:48:31 AM
Kagawa hat trick ruins my perfect. Now I really hate United.

2013-03-02 11:51:35 AM
Awesome that Kagawa got the hat trick and Rooney's goal for United's fourth was superb. Amazing second half from United.

2013-03-02 11:51:58 AM
Rooney.
Goes from hated Everton to hated United, but you cannot deny the lads got skill for days on end. Lovely finish.

2013-03-02 11:52:25 AM
Rafa and Chelsea survive

2013-03-02 11:52:55 AM
Goalkeeper scores the equalizer?  No, Chelsea holds on.

2013-03-02 11:54:27 AM
Sunderland are very poor. And in typical Fulham fashion we play down to their level and drop points on the road. Color me surprised.

2013-03-02 11:55:06 AM
On +45 for the day. 2 incorrect on the Newcastle and Southampton matches.

2013-03-02 11:55:22 AM
What is happening to Barca?
Lose twice to Real and to AC MIlan?
If I was a Blaugranista, I'd be a bit worried at the moment.

2013-03-02 11:56:13 AM
And Real spanked Barca with their second-string team. Damn.

2013-03-02 11:57:35 AM
He won't be anywhere near it, but Michael Carrick should be in the running for player of the year.

Norwich gave one of the most joyless, ambitionless performances I've seen in ages.

2013-03-02 12:00:17 PM
Valdes got sent off too, which means Lopez is playing ACM.

If I was a betting man, I'd go 2-1 Barca in that game. AC have made Lopez their biatch the last time they played him. Granted, they also had Thiago Silva at the time.

Got to be Michu. We aren't even talking about Swansea without him.

Bale is the runaway favorite

It was like watching Stoke without the thuggery

It would of been nice to have a go but we went on that massive unbeaten run so can't omplain too much. Staying in the league is the primary objective.

2013-03-02 12:06:55 PM

HaywoodJablonski: Bale is the runaway favorite

If Bale can keep his form up, than yes, I can see him winning it. But Michu has kept a team that people were writing off a relegation fodder to mid table in his first year in the league. In my eyes, it has to be him.

2013-03-02 12:07:31 PM
Can't wait to hear Citeh fans howling on Monday that they still have a chance.

Their suffering is amusing.

Thats No Moose: And Real spanked Barca with their second-string team. Damn.

Just got done watching that one, not sure I'd call it "spanked", but yeah.

Looked at my fark predictions too, damm I did well this morning

2013-03-02 12:24:56 PM
Good day for me. Only missed West Ham and QPR, and had my banker on Everton by 2 goals.

I like your prediction (Milan advance) but Valdes getting sent off will have no bearing on him playing

2013-03-02 12:29:46 PM
Wigan 1 - 3 Liverpool would suit me nicely

2013-03-02 12:32:29 PM
Good start

Forgot his red in the league has no standing with UEFA (Or I'm just too drunk right now). Either way, still favor AC to advance. Milan haven't looked like scoring 3 against anyone in the last weeks much less AC, who will probably be parking the bus.

FARK YES DOWNING!

They dont play for a week and a half either even if it did have bearing lol, that observation of yours was from WAY out in left field.
