You'd think after the video that's a few links down on the Sports tab, the little hypocrite coach from Durham would be used to seeing fans rush the court.

\your team is highly ranked and hated throughout the land, it will ALWAYS happen
\\it's tradition, and not you, nor security, nor Dookie V and his ESPN knobgobblers are going to stop it

The Cavalier Faithful were brutal

Not that I'd ever take up for the dukesters, but that many people rushing into such a small area is a safety issue.  Someone is going to get hurt.

/major liability in the land of lawyers

That pederast should be in prison anyway. What a travesty.

Suck it, Blue Devils

I agree with him... Storming the court is stupid and current college students are idiots

Heh.

He's just mad because he lost AND got trolled.

Dook sucks. WAHOO WAH.

That is all.

Man is that guy one whiny biatch.

And when is the last time someone got hurt storming the court?

Lighten up Francis.

Perhaps not sucking?

/Go State!

I'll just leave this here. >.>

Duke and Kentucky both suck.

It's like he didn't even watch the video and see the line of yellow jacketed security guards who formed a barrier and kept the players and coaches away from the storming fans. Virginia handled it just fine.

Coach K needs to pull the stick out if his ass. These are excited young people who have been drinking all day. Let them have their fun.

Maybe if everyone didn't hate Duke so much they wouldn't get court stormed when they lose.

So much this.

Sad thing is, the ACC will probably roll out some draconian rules against on-court celebrations because Boss Mike said so.  They'll of course ignore the obnoxious Dookie Fans and their organized obscene harrassment cheer sheets that is part and parcel of a trip to their outdated little gym.

It's because Duke is usually a contender for the national title. That's why they storm the court after beating your sucky team.

Play better.

/your stadium is full of assholes who are no better than the assholes who storm the court elsewhere. Go make fun of someone's dead grandma

In all fairness, I do think that "storming the court" is done way too often.  For truly historic wins, it's one thing, but it seems like it's happening multiple times every week around college basketball this year.

Did people storm the court 10, 20, 30 years ago?

Was it magically less dangerous then?

That's because the amount of unranked teams beating too 5 teams this year. Seasons isn't even close to done and the record has already been smashed. These teams storming the court are doing so because their teams hasn't beat a top 5 team in many years. So to them, it actually is "historic".

It's only dangerous when Coach Kry says it is.

Watching the 3 noon-time games this morning and quite frankly they have to do something about the physical play on defense...this crap is becoming unwatchable Pat Riley-Knick goon ball.

Sure VCU hustles their butt off in defense, but you let me body up and hand check like that I'll cause 20 points off of turnovers a game too.

If I wanted to watch football...I'd watch football...this is goon ball.

Here is just how hypocritical that POS coach is: at Camoron Indoor Stadium the fans can (and occassionally do) touch players while they are inbounding from the sidelines (according to reporter Adam Lucas, who is in this photo, a dook fan touched Barnes twice while he stood there).  Apparently that's OK, but rush the court when your unranked team beats #3 in the nation, and K has a hissy fit.  What an absolute a$$hole that guy is. Also, why is he adored by dook fans when he regularly extorts the University for more$$$every few years when he pretends to listen to overtures from pro teams? p the boiler: I agree with him... Storming the court is stupid and current college students are idiots yes, kids these day having fun is unacceptable. who the fark cares if they storm the court? sure someone might get hurt someday, but when you drive a car you might get in an accident, when the drunk kids stumble back to their house they might fall down, when on spring break there could be a shark attack. lot's of risks in life. the risk from fans storming the court is not really a concern. coach k is a great coach, but here he sounds like a whiny little biatch that needs to shut the fark up. Duke stormed the court against Virginia Tech while being ranked in the top 5 or top 10 after a lucky half court shot at the buzzer to beat Tech who wasn't even close to being ranked at the time. Coach K and his fans can eat a dick. As a long-suffering UVA fan, I have loathed and despised Duke since the day that whiny prick set foot on campus. Thursday night's win was very gratifying in that not only did the Hoos break an 8 game losing streak to Duke, but the referees refused to be intimidated by him, especially the one who T'd up one of his players. Everybody in the arena knew the fans were going to storm the court; the ESPN announcers even made mention of it right near the end of the game. So, hey Mike; go fark yourself. /Duke sucks //obligatory slashie What a jerk rat-face is!! Here's video from a fan of UVA in the stands. The dookie's players and coaches were all well-protected. Of all the games to complain about rushing of the court, in this one, the security and stadium staff should be commended: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=PFWS5CqyU9c#! its only a matter of time before some mentally unstable fan does shiv a player. What are Hoos? I thought they were the Cavs. SlothB77: its only a matter of time before some mentally unstable fan does shiv a player. Given the people that the let play college sports, I think it is much more likely that a fan gets shived by a player. Okay, I looked it up, never mind. "Wahoos?" More like "Yahoos," amirite? I thought he was hypocritical because he spent his first seventeen seasons whining about how pampered Dean Smith was, then promptly forgot all that once he became the longest-tenured coach in the ACC and got all the refs and Dookie Vitale in his pocket.   But ya, that too.

FTFA: "Whatever you're doing, you need to get the team off first," Krzyzewski told the Raliegh News Observer.

giggity.

Heh, I was going with some of the less well-known ways that K is a douchebag.

Duke sucks and everyone I've ever met who went there has been a farking putz.

ragekage: Dook sucks. WAHOO WAH.

I came here to say this.

/No, really.
//Go Hoos!

It is getting a bit old and busted.

I love when Duke loses, even more so when that douchebag cries afterwards.

It's a shame it was the unmitigated assholes of UVA that got the pleasure of beating them, though.

You sound like a VA Tech fan, and if you are, my condolences. Even if you're not, you still sound like one.

/Go Hoos!

The only time I rushed anything at UVA was fourth year fifth day, when we beat Maryland.  I don't even think the game was close or anything, but we ended up on the field anyway.  I don't think I'd want to rush a basketball court.
