She can't be any worse than Billy Cundiff, and teams keep hiring him.

runwiz: The NFL is all about winning.  I can't see her on kickoffs, unless she can kick the football out of the endzone, because she may have to tackle someone.  But if she can kick field goals, I think she could land a job.

Yeah, with how frequently the kicker is the last person standing between tackling the runner and a touchdown, there's now way she does kickoffs or punts.

Great! My 7yo daughter was bummed when she got interested in pro football last year and found out there were no women playing.

this.

More power to her.  But unless she's way better (Jacques Stroppe-like), I think the NFL has gone beyond the "Hey look, a female kicker" stunt for anyone to give her a shot.

This is why I don't think she has a chance. Like you said she would probably only be used for field goal and extra point situations, and nowhere in the article does it ever mention what her field goal range is, or what her field goal percentage is. These are very important things to consider when you are talking about kickers. It would be like having an article hyping a running back without ever mentioning his 40 time or how many yards he ran for the previous season. I think who ever wrote this article knows what her range is and what her maximum long is, and knows it isn't up to NFL standards, so they didn't mention it. If they did it would have killed any sense of drama built up by the story.

What is her range? That is the only thing that will determine if she makes a team.

I'm going way, way out on a limb here and predicting that she doesn't make any team.

As a former offensive lineman I'd just hold her.

The NFL needs more good kickers. If she can play, I say sign her to a team, and let her earn a spot in camp.

I'd NFL reference her vagina euphemism.

I'd touch her back.
I'd down her inside the 20.
I'd have sexual intercourse with her.
I'd split her uprights.
I'd name her to my practice squad.
I'd put it on her endzone
