SurelyShirley: "You literally could not go anywhere in Germany without running into forced labor camps, P.O.W. camps, concentration camps," he said. "They were everywhere."

I would like to see a map with names and exact locations of all those camps. Not just a 100x100 pixel thumbnail with a bunch of gray dots on it. I wonder what's behind these "new discoveries"? Oh wait, the German economy is doing better than most, let's just hit 'em up for more Deutsch Marks or Euros or whatever can pay our bills (to build more condos on Palestinian territory)

Oh please not this tired crap that justifies what the Jews do to Palestinians with what the European colonists  did to Native Americans.

The world has grown up since then. WWII was fought over colonialism and one result was that almost all colonies were given their independence. The Jewish response to WWII was to move opposite to this and colonize Palestine and try to subdue or drive out the native population. Israel is the only country that persists in moving in this anti-historical direction.

Teach the controversy.

Holocaust denial is so vile, so scummy, and holocaust deniers are such horrid pieces of human shiat, that it's one of the few things I just cannot joke about.

I sometimes feel the same way, too.

Holocaust deniers, Truthers, Birthers, Vaccineers, David Icke followers, they are terrible people.

Racism runs deep. It is still in our psyche. We may be an enlightened species, but we have a major problem, and that is our programming. What is different could be dangerous. This is a primitive emotion from where bigotry comes from. In order for us to evolve we must accept who we are so we can recognize it and control it.

So, have you confronted the demons of Byrd, Thurman, Jackson, and Sharpton yet?

ninotchka: Alonjar: St. Snuff: systematic genocide of millions by the Nazis is incomparable to any other act by man in history.

I guess you arent terribly familiar with human history.  Genocide was always the order of the day... this is a very rare time in human history where genocide is frowned upon.  Its a downright anomaly, really.  You should read some eye witness accounts of the crusades some time... the nazi's were practically humane.

Crusades? Try Genghis Khan

Short story of the latest, my wife is a big facebooker. She has her friends and all that, but so one of her friends posts that bullshiat "Bill Cosby" rant about Muslims and the poor ruining America thing. So my wife responds (I'm so farking proud, I taught her to do this) "this shait ain't true, here's a link". The post was pulled in a manner of minutes and this other girl didn't speak to my wife for a week... or maybe longer, I don't know if they're talking. Everytime I've done that I've actually never been welcome to speak by the other person again.

I'm trying to follow your story, so please tell me if I understand you correctly. You're thinking it might be time to leave the US because you think some bad things will be happening soon. And one of the bad things that has happened in the US is that your wife disagreed with her friend's FB post and the friend is no longer talking to your wife. Is this what you're saying?

No. It's a small sign that I think is worth paying attention to. Your friends laying out overly patriotic, xenophobic messages that would otherwise go unchallenged among your other friends. I think that's pretty worrisome.

Little things add up to hegemony. I'd hate to be stuck is all.

"For the likes of me"? You don't know me and don't know where I'm coming from.
That map you provided barely shows the well known camps. We had more detailed maps in 5th grade history class 40 years ago. The article talks about "30,000 slave labor camps; 1,150 Jewish ghettos; 980 concentration camps; 1,000 prisoner-of-war camps; 500 brothels filled with sex slaves". That's the map I would like to see.

Beverly Hills is actually overwhelmingly Persian Iranian Jews.

According to Wikipedia Beverly Hills is only 26% Persian now. Before the immigration wave of rich Persian Jews, Beverly Hills was overwhelmingly Jewish  (why else did the Persians move there?), and while 26% is not overwhelmingly Persian, that number plus the earlier rich Jewish doctor, dentist, mogul, and businessman numbers still make Beverly Hills overwhelmingly Jewish.

lack of warmth: You are not kidding, I have been reading some stuff about Guatemala and Mexico circa 400 AD where a major war wiped out millions.  Cities were cleaned out of all people, the cruel treatment of the prisoners made the Nazi's look like pansies.  If the men were captured alive, they were forced to watch their wives and daughters be raped before killing them on one side, and the other side would cut the man up, cook him and made his family eat him.

I think you are in denial about the white racism that made all of this possible to begin with... check your privilege, bigot.

OK, so what exactly was the total financial contribution in absolute or percentage terms of the Bush family to Nazi Germany? Come on, this is your chance to embarrass the "obvious troll" (i.e., the random stranger on the internet who dares to disagree with your infallible opinion).

Also, Obama didn't ride his grandfather's coattails to the presidency.

I didn't know it was possible to ride on coattails at all. Is this bizarre metaphor meant to be taken literally? Are we supposed to imagine George W. Bush holding on for dear life to the "coattails" of a grandfather who died 28 years before he was elected President? If you are saying that Prescott Bush's money and influence made it possible for his grandson to be elected president, this is doubtless true but -- so what? There are other wealthy dynasties in American politics, including Democratic ones such as the Kennedys, the Gores and (more recently) the Clintons. For that matter, Obama did at least partially rely on his father's reputation in his bid for the presidency -- why else would he have entitled his autobiography "Dreams from my Father"? No, you don't really give a damn about the concentration of power and influence in American politics among a few affluent families -- you just want to smear a retired Republican politician using the primitive concept of inherited guilt.

Yeah, but it was all ultimately in the cause of social justice so really it was OK... remember, "no enemies on the Left". Anyway, we all know that Communism couldn't possibly have killed dozens of millions of innocent people because we were never taught that in public school.

I'm thinking it's a huge stretch to say that without IBM the holocaust could have never happened. Germany produced some very advanced early digital computer and analogue computing devices during the course of World War II well enough on their own.
