No. They are so efficient that the only bi-product of eating is more tribbles.

Wow, Rob's stuff doesn't usually have that many typo's in it....

Still a good list. I figured it was him when he got around to E.T., when he was doing Topless Robot(Before he left and it turned to shiat), it was well known that he had a deep-seated phobic reaction to E.T.

Good list? The title of TFA was 12 aliens that were supposed to be cute but were actually terrifying, and not a single one of them were really terrifying. The Podlings, creatures from Galaxy Quest and the critter from Flight of the Navigator were mildly creepy, but nowhere near terrifying. List was garbage. TFA was bad and both subby and the author should feel bad.

There's no way the Teletubbies are anything BUT terrifying, and the author has serious issues with E.T.

Seeing Jim Carrey, Jeff Goldblum and Wayans #23 (which one was it again?) sporting technicolor fur in Earth Girls Are Easy... not entirely cute, not terrifying, but kinda disgusting. Probably don't count for this list as they 'clean up well' later in the movie.

Just because you never had a nightmare about any of them doesn't mean no one else has. If I saw any of those things in real life I'd go AHH instead of Aww. Except maybe those Doctor Who critters.

But can you really imagine what it would be like to hold a ball of warm, living flesh, covered in hair, in your hand?

Yeah, I hold my guinea pigs every day. They're adorable and fun to play with. The one doesn't even look much different than a Tribble.  Hell, they even purr like Tribbles.

And I know that it's only a matter of time until I explode into Adipose.

yyrkoon: Seriously Tribbles?

Tribbles are terrifying. If something like that got loose here you can say goodby to the human race and any multicellular life on Earth. They do one thing. Multiply and Eat... wait that's 2 things.

Urban dictionary says.

1. PURE EVIL
2. A ball of fluff that procreates rapidly and drains an entire species of resources until they collapse. The species does not notice because the tribbles are "cute."

2013-03-01 10:27:32 PM
So the problem with the Ewoks were that they would eat Stormtroopers? You think a Stormtrooper would not eat an Ewok any day of the week and twice on Sunday?

2013-03-01 10:31:41 PM
E.T. was the only thing I was terrified of a child. Would break out in sweats when anyone even hinted at extending their index finger. Light on in the hallway and everything. I blame my parents for letting me watch it when I was five, even though it was rated no-under-10s.

Shudder.

I usually disagree with the "OMG we're feminizing our men in this country!" people, but if any of those aliens terrifies you, weeping vaginas would look at you and tell you to man the f*ck up.

Duck tits (NSFW)

CSB: I remember Playboy had an issue with a multi-page article about the upcoming Howard the Duck movie, and how Playduck was going to be featured in the film.  Had a few pics from the fake magazine (one of which I linked) and talked about the movie and the design process behind the mag they were making for the movie.

That's all any of us do. Besides, the Earth is safe from tribbles because we have cats.

Interesting.  I don't see Illegals on the list.  But I guess that's because nobody ever expected them to be cute?

11) E.T.

2) play dress-up with Drew Barrymore's clothes....

That's terrifying? I'd pay good money for that!
