So did they find any kind of meat in there besides horse meat?

barnacleboy: I have never tried taco bell. (Uk and dont live in the three shiatholes it is located) but if you pay minimum price for meat and expect premium beef and not s mish mash of any mammal protein, you need to re- evaluate your life

I've been in the US for some time now, and have had it. It's very cheap and it's.. well, let me open my photobucket to explain.

It all tastes the same under all that salt.

Good headline. My face did a smile.

IamAwake: finnished: Wow, why didn't anyone think of this before?

It wasn't a question, nor an attempt to start a novel debate.  It was a statement of opinion, in which I sided with a well-established notion that all you people who think it is horrible to eat horses, dogs, etc - are nuts.  And just a wee bit narrow in focus.

I personaly could give a rats ass if there is rat ass in the "meat ". Just make sure it is labeled as such

IamAwake: Every single bit of your actual body is 100% human. Then, there are parasites and bacteria...which absolutely do not add up to 90% of the volume of your body.

Human cells win on total volume, but are outnumbered 10:1 by bacteria.

Also, a decent chunk of so-called "human" DNA is actually just leftover retroviruses which infected our ancestors.

The articles said "horse DNA". That suggests that it's not horse meat, but rather something that comes from the horse's "meat".

Taco Bell's new slogan: "Arby's ain't the only place with Horsey Sauce!"

Your Average Witty Fark User: Taco Bell haters are twats.

Because they're all elitist for not wanting to eat shiatty food, or what?

As a frequent patron of such establishments, (today in fact) I'm okay with this.

Louisiana_Sitar_Club: I looked really hard at lunch today and didn't see any horse meat at all in mine.

I stopped eating Taco Bell a couple years ago when I couldn't tell the "meat" tasted like anything more than sawdust mixed with used 30 weight. I ended up having to drive through one the other night when it was the least offensive option available besides actual starvation, and I'm pretty convinced they no longer mix in any sawdust.

Nuclear Monk: For street cred, I am at least a little curious as to what other animals I may have eaten.

/Shetland Ponies?  Yeah I've eaten them!  Delicious!
//May have just been Applebee's

This.

The only problem with all these recent scandals is the mislabeling of the products. Other than that, horse is pretty delicious. I don't know why there is a big stigma about eating it in a lot of countries. fark, i just had horse jerky two days ago.

The deal is getting what you think you are getting.  If I order a salad with romane, oranges, and green peppers, and it comes to me with red peppers, iceberg, and tomatos.. it's not what I expected to get, and therefore wrong.

If any of these places want to advertise that there is donkey, horse, dog, or wombat in the meat.. that's fine.

It's the sneaky shiat that won't stand.
