St. Snuff: Who the hell wrote this article? My god...
Granted this statement "Ms Francis also railed against Burger Urge's condom promotion and said it could catch out children who loved getting the mail," may be a product of a different dialect and cultural slang and to 'catch out children' is a proper use of slang but then I saw this one --
"But Burger Urge owner Sean Carthew said the thought parents could manage the arrival of a condom in the letterbox."

At least have someone edit the article if the author is a moron..

Actually, St. Snuff, you're just not familiar with the term. Thought parents are like godparents, except, we, um, think. And we always manage the arrival of condoms in the letterbox.

People are so farking stupid I can't stand it.

They should be outraged that money and science were applied to give that cow a monocle. If god wanted cows to see in focus he would have made them that way.

Yes, it's obviously a joke combining food and sex. I thought it was kind of stupid but I get it. However, Christians have no sense of humor when it comes to anything even tangentially related to sex because it's naughty and our dirty parts are evil. So go flog yourself if you saw the picture until you stop thinking about your naughty bits.

people should feel confident they wouldn't have to see ``a woman making love to a cow''.

If licking noses is how you make love, lady, you're doing it wrong...

/Or, maybe you've just got strange erogenous zones...

Anyone have the original of that?

Totally unrelated to cows and the licking thereof; so this post is totally irrelevant.  Funny though.  Enjoy.

''They hadn't actually received the advertising material themselves so we confine our cases to things that people have actually received or seen,'' Advertising Standards chief Fiona Jolly said.

Hah.

Nurglitch: Of course it's perverted. The cow is cross-dressing! Also, lesbianism. Which is like witchcraft.

Oddly enough, "Lesbian Cow-Witches" is the name of my new Christian Rock band.

"Christians upset over the poster of a woman licking a cow"

It was quite the kerfuffle,
I'd never seen anything like it.

2.2 billion people frothing with rage over a cow licking.

It started in Australia, but spread globally.

The Ethiopian Orthodox were the first outside of Australia to be upset.
This quickly spread to other orthodox constituencies, the Greek, Syrian and Coptic.

Once the Russian Orthodox became involved, Burger Urge suspected trouble may be brewing.

At the same time as the Russians began raging, two other diverse groups picked up on the outrage.
The first was the Assyrian Church of the East (Nestorians) who ranged across central Asia, the second was the Marionite Catholics of the Middle East.

Now this was important as the Marionites are in communion with the big show; the Roman Catholic church.

The Vatican convened an Inquisition.

As 1.16 billion Catholics worldwide awaited it's decision, Aussies woke up to find local Burger Urge's mysteriously closed and shuttered.

It was all downhill from there...

First the Archbishop of Canterbury made a fomenting speech to Anglicans and Episcopalians globally, urging burger jihad.

The Lutherans, Calvinists, Mennonites, Methodists, Armenian Pentecostals, Presbyterians, Reformeds, Seventh-day Adventists and Quakers in the interests of social justice started protesting McDonald's too.

The giant evangelical constituencies in West Africa and Brazil decided they liked the idea of a new crusade, and millions hopped onto anything that floated in a foolhardy attempt at transoceanic crossing.

But nothing was heard from the 100 million evangelicals in the US...

Until a month later when CNN reported a combination of drone strikes and special ops had decimated the Burger Urge leadership, with owner Sean Carthew shot through the neck whilst frantically posting missives on Reddit.

And that was the last time anyone upset Christianity by licking a cow.

But really, it seems like attention whoring is finally paying off for Burger Urge. If your menu's second rate, you've gotta have a gimmick.

Since bad publicity is better than no publicity, it's obvious they've been deliberately trying to raise offense in order to cultivate a "bad boy" image (condoms? seriously? are they 14?).

The Australian Christian Lobby complaint is what they've hoping for all along.
This Wendy Francis woman swallowed an conspicuous hook.

The monocle keeps it classy.

Thank you, advertising industry.
