If I were these autism groups, I'd be far more worried about the fact that so many of the people using the phrase "autistic people should" put die at the end of their query that it causes this to be the highest auto completed result. Just what is Google supposed to do about that? It's over 5 million page results with millions more establishing the query pattern. Maybe the autism groups should reach out to those millions of people instead of asking Google to sweep it away.

I'd think it was probably more likely the result of one of those pranks certain groups do to manipulate google results, like how back in the day if you searched for french military victories it'd say "did you mean french military defeats?" Rather than as a result of millions of people casually googling their thoguhts on exterminating autistic folk.

Possible, but not probably.

Do you not remember Sandyhook? The shooter had assburgers. Assburgers is an autism spectrum disorder. There can't be that many people searching for the string "people with autism should" in the first place. But internet forums where ITGs spout endless nonsense at each other are plentiful. The spider probably just picked up on a recent spike in activity.

/I'll type out the proper name for assburgers informally when the phrase "ass burgers" stops being funny.
