This is why I hate twitter. IDK if the  guy was hacked or whatever, but it seems harmless enough ( if he only told a few folks at a party, not on a medium where millions see stuff instantly. )

I really don't understand how it is so hard to link to an article without an auto play video ad.

Most people have a plug-in that disables such things, so they probably don't notice them when submitting a link.

"..will makes a good duo.."

yeah, i'm going out on a limb and thinking that account isn't hacked.

Idiots and morons are the only ones that think "ZOMG HACKED!!1!" is an actual thing. That's why you see it a lot in horribad TV shows and Cracked lists all the time.

In reality, if you are, they don't care.

Just claiming your Twitter was hacked should be against NFL policy.   Double the fines if the same is claimed of Facebook images that a "hacker" allegedly posted, despite the fact they came from YOUR phone.

Vontae's tweet was not what violated NFL rules, subby.

The violation was KC talking to Sean Smith before the free agency window opened on March 9th. That is tampering.

I seen my dude Sean Smith last night he said he talking to KC him & B Flowers will makes a good Duo

Did anyone else read that in the voice of one of the jive talking black dudes from "Airplane!"?

Same uneducated buffoon athlete "English" in all the tweets, same stupid person.

I'll just dispense with the uncertainty.  He wasn't hacked.

If you think that every team is waiting until the 12th to talk to potential free agents, I've got a bridge to sell you.

If your twitter account gets hacked, wouldn't the hacker change the password? If so, how do you get back into your account to say it was hacked?

On top of the fines, they should be made to set through a two day course covering "online security and personal privacy", so they can learn how to not get hacked.

Why yes, this course would take place from 7am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday.  Inconvenient times being inconvenient and all.

Since "hacked" means "I logged in on the test iPhone at Walmart and was too dumb to log out"...

The volume of hackers focusing on our professional athlete Twitter accounts is staggering.

Doesn't change the fact that it's tampering.

Exactly. What Davis is guilty of is called "snitching". Except in matters of national security, or when one is a member of an organized crime family of some sort, it's not against the rules, it's just impolite.

Yes, but that won't stop Goodell from doing his selective enforcement bullshiat that has become a staple of his administration.

It is impossible to catch it all (and there is a ton of it), but if a team complains about it and there is proof like this idiot on twitter, the league has no choice but to enforce the rule.

It was explained later that it wasn't tampering, it was just a stupid football player.

The other dude spoke to a member of a different team, who was a friend of his and had been for a while. The idiot in question said that constituted a team talking to said player, which it very much does not.

Uhh. no.  People who hack accounts like that say stuff like "OMGGG! I'm havin so much fun blowing goats!!" not talking about hanging out with your agent/pal/fellow player.

Interesting to see what Goodell does about this.  Just because it's the off season doesn't mean he can't break out his mighty hammer.
