BigLuca: Cybernetic: "The home of Brown".

Could be Harpers Ferry, WV.

Or it could be Cleveland.

UPS World Headquarters 55 Glenlake Parkway NE Atlanta

"What can Brown do for you?"

Could be Seattle as that is where UPS started!

I guess haters are gonna hate, but this is cool. The guy clearly doesn't give a shiat about making money off the autobiography/guidebook, especially since the poem is published on the internet (TFA links to it). The notoriety coming from this is worth far more than any profit he might make. My question is whether he's given the location to his attorney in case he dies before it's found. I'm guessing not, since he probably assumes someone will find it eventually, and if they don't... too damn bad.

During the Vietnam War, he flew hundreds of missions and said he was shot down twice, in South Vietnam and again in Laos. Even while fighting, the highly decorated pilot didn't surrender the search for rare objects, flying to Pompeii in his off-time to find artifacts.

He also sounds like a badass. Might want to keep an eye out for rolling boulders and bamboo spikes during your search.

Abox: Maybe...the treasure is...inside all of us!

Whadiwin.

Jack Handey said it best:

"It's funny that pirates were always going around searching for treasure, and they never realized that the REAL treasure was the fond memories they were creating."

Mog32Kupo: New Mexico, eh?
What's going to stop 3 Methed out punks to go invade this guys house, hold him hostage, and demand the whereabouts.

/New Mexico, Meth, is there anything else but Desert out there?

It's actually supposed to be in the Jemez, some very pretty pine/aspen covered mountains.

Also, on his (down) blog, he apparently once said that two groups had once gotten within 200 feet of it, but never said which groups.

This guy is loving this.

Tyler Fitzgerald: Anybody can fly plane, now here: I'll check you out. Put your little hands on the wheel there. Now put your feet on the rudder. There. Who says this ol' boy can't fly this ol' plane? Now I'm gonna make us some Old Fashioneds the old-fashioned way - the way dear old Dad used to!
