(Evansville Courier Press)   So you just bonded out on your DUI. Do you (C) take a leak on the entrance to the jail on your way out and get immediately re-arrested?   (courierpress.com) divider line 21

Well,  since he was only in there for 30 minutes, I'm guessing he was still drunk when he was released.

Some folks don't have very good judgement when intoxicated.

I'm surprised that he didn't get rearrested for public intoxication.

Seeing as how I read the headline as "boned your way out", I was left less than impressed with the article.

In and out of jail in 30 minutes!  Dominos can't deliver a pizza that fast.

Most jails will hold me until I'm sober.

I think peeing on an actual police officer would be more efficacious.

Kline posted bond again, and was released from custody pending a court appearance on both charges.

At that point he went and took a dump in the gas tank of a patrol car.

My high school's dean of students who was in charge of discipline wasn't that well liked, but in my limited dealings with him he seemed generally even tempered and fair. I was sitting in the waiting area of his office one day and listened to him shout at some kid for a few minutes unlike anything that I'd ever heard from him so this kid must have screwed up badly. The door was eventually thrown open, the kid is shouted out, and told to get his things from his locker and report back immediately to wait for his parents because he wasn't allowed back on school grounds for a week.

Less than 2 minutes later he came back in with a fresh office referral from a teacher who spotted him causing trouble in the hallway. Some people don't seem capable of making good choices. Of course somewhere between 15 and 45 you hope one would learn to.

a teacher spotted him in the hallway and given his situation with the Dean was probably without a hall pass and his recent suspension was probably a bit upset and shot his mouth off

An Illinois State Police Trooper transported Keith Kline, 45, to the Wayne County jail at about 3:45 p.m. where he was booked on a charge of drunken driving.

A friend of mine spent the night in the clink for public intox, and when he and the other drunks were let out in the morning, one of his new pals pulls out a baggy of meth that he had somehow kept on him during his brief stay, offering some to my friend.  Unfortunately, this activity occurred in front of a plainclothes cop who promptly busted the guy.  My friend went straight to the bar.

Once, when I was getting out, no one was in the changing area and I briefly considered sneaking the "County Jail" top  out under my sweater as I thought it would make an awesome Halloween costume.

Lock him up for just enough time to make some toilet wine and you could keep the cycle going indefinitely.

A friend of mine decided to get dressed for his role in a prison drama play (he had an authentic corrections inmate costume) at home instead of waiting until he arrived at the theater. He got stopped for speeding on the way to the show and had the jolliest time explaining to the trooper that he was an actor and not a perp on the lam.
