Advertise a movie as being almost exactly the same as the last movie they made?

/probably will work, sadly

Seriously, WTF?  A venn diagram with no data on it?  That's the proof?  Please tell me I'm missing something.

The movie commercial literally says "The Hangover for college".

was expecting interesting comparisons or at least insight.  All I got was a shiatty article that probably took 10 minutes to write and a stupid Venn diagram.

Here let me do your farking easy job reporter:

night of debauchery
little Asian acts Asian for humor.
cops are in on the joke!

There.  I did 10 seconds of work.  More parallels were drawn than what you farking did.

the Hangover made so much money that god has come around asking the producers for spare cash twice.  Of COURSE they're going to make the same movie again if they can.

That being said, if I were the editor at that site, I'd fire the author of the article and mail their mother a letter instructing her to love the author less.

The shiatty trailer isn't proof enough?

"From the makers of 'The Hangover'" didn't give it away?

rilly?

NextMovie, using science, was able to whip up a graphical representation of just how similar the two party movies are. Check it out below:
www.nextmovie.com

So The Hangover is more a Libbie movie, and 21 and Over is geared towards Republicans?

I just an advanced screening of it last night at the Alamo Drafthouse and thought it was alright...I openly laughed a few times. If you liked the Hangover, chances are you'll find this movie funny.

No, intentionally. There were some slow parts, but yeah.

Not only is the Venn diagram missing data, the overlapped color is not what happens when red and blue mate.  So they suck at science and color theory.  Understandably, the missing data is the joke, but that punchline seems like it was taken straight from Carlos Mencia.

last night I got stoned and watched "Superbad", even with weed I couldn't get through it all. A few guffaws though.

/television sucks, aside from Walking Dead which i almost gave up on but last ep reeled me back in, all I'm watching is Dallas Stars hockey and Champion League futbol matches.

Superbad is a high school buddy comedy (like American Pie) that somehow turned into a 90-minute long unfunny gay joke.

They should have just called it "Will & Grace Jack: The Closeted Days" and had a better marketing plan.

The only evidence I need to know this movie will suck is the complete lack of critic reviews just days before it's released and how absolutely aggressive its marketing campaign is.  While some movies recover from one of those signs, I can't think of one that survived both.

Proof that 'The Hangover' and '21 and Over' are basically the same movie Kase Wickman hasn't actually seen "21 and Over", but is just basing this article on the clips he's seen in the preview.

/WTF kind of name is "Kase", anyway?

I scored a free pass / free ticket to an advanced screening of it last night. (a friend of my GF won four tickets, asked us if we wanted to go, and we did.)

I was initially skeptical because the commercials looked very lame and unfunny. And there was no critic reviews.

I actually liked it. I chuckled, I laughed, there was some tender moments, etc.
There was no real memorable hilarious lines, but there was a lot of semi-clever stuff. Think "Superbad" or "Hangover" witty repartee rejects.

speaking of the similarities........

The movie was like a combo of "Weekend at Bernies", "Superbad" (infact, the two leads reminds me of the two leads in "Superbad". the raunchy/vulgar guy character, and the meek guy character), and "the Hangover".

Anybody else recognize the blonde supporting actress from somewhere?
