I could think of nothing worse to happen to Aer Lingus, which has treated us fine for the US-Ireland run, than to be associated in any way with RyanAir. *shudder*

2. proposal unacceptable in terms of aviation safety
3. garnering publicity
4. cheap-as-chips brand reputation

/flew with them once. Got what I paid for. Was ok.
