Segway = Electric Powered Dolly

Not news. The inverse (a guy in a car stealing electricity) ... now that's news.

Not only that, but you can use the gasoline to run a generator to charge the Segway.

Was the Segway a tanker?

I want to ride a Segway.
(Already rode a moped - and a few fat chicks.)

Segway S400 Superduty.

I don't know. Having used Segways in the past I'm trying to picture someone trying to balance themselves and two 25-gallon cans on one or even just using it to carry the cans and having trouble seeing it turn out well either way.

Doable, I suppose, but it would be real easy to have the Segway get away from you trying to use it in that manner.

Why not put the generator and the gasoline on a cart behind the segway?

/Drive for miles and miles and miles...

Me too, I don't understand all the Segway hate I see(Such as inclusion on a "biggest flops" list). I've seen handicapped people use them to get through doors much easier than a wheelchair, they drive up, grab the knob, and go in reverse. I've seen police use them very effectively in crowds. They get to be another 6" higher than everyone, can move quickly, still break through the crowd, but aren't as clunky as a bike(Or a horse) in a crowd. The tech fascinates me too. I think they have a place here in SLC that rents them for a half day for something like $75, I just have to figure out where I want to go for my $75.

We should start the first-ever Segway gang (with faux leather jackets - cuz real ones are cruel).

Some say...

More likely 5 gallion cans.  Or 20 liter.

25 gallons of gasoline weighs in excess of 150 lbs.

I've never used one myself, but i would imagine throwing a drum of gas on the base and walking next to it leaning it a little forward as you walk along with it... That's what i imagined anyway...

My God, that would be funny as Hell... I may be able to make a pretty good video short out of that. I just wish I had the money to really do it right. Naked women painted on the fenders, ape-hanger handlebars, a fat chick on the back, the whole works... You even out one of those things that kids put on the bike handlebars to twist and make the motorcycle sound. God, the stuff I could do with this...

25 gallon can is a big container of gas.  If that figure is correct, I suspect a vehicle other than the segway is involved.  Like, you know, a truck.

Now, I'm getting a mental image of a Segway drunkenly lurching as the gasoline sloshes around in the cans.

Somehow the thought of a cop on a Segway vs. the the image of a cop on an animal that could trample you to death just doesn't seem very threatening.

Wow!  With fifty gallons of gas on it, how much would a Segway?

Oooh, can I be the guy that looks like he just got an electric shock, but also makes segways like 10x faster with badass sound effects and such?

I'm in.
