That's NOT a Rube Goldberg machine. A true RGM relies more on kinetic energy than that

OH FOR CHRISSAKES

Just buy cookies you like instead of buying Oreos and then trying to turn them into something they aren't.

Why can't you just accept Oreos for what they are instead of what you think they should be?

Direct video link.

Seriously, can we make it a rule that the link has to go to the  ACTUAL VIDEO instead of some weaksauce site with a click-through link?  I don't want to make some jackass money for visiting his site just to pass through to Youtube.

A - This Bubblews site sucks sweaty donkey ass, just link to the video.

B - Wouldn't a plane be more efficient than the Dremel for removing the creme?

C - The only cookie worse than an Oreo is a Hydrox or one of those damned raisin cookies that masquerades as a chocolate chip cookie until you bite into it...

Two reasons why stuff like this happens:

1) The submission FAQ says "Don't link directly to videos. Link to pages where videos can be watched instead."

and

2) People have to post indirect YouTube links to get around the "someone already submitted this" filter when the direct YouTube link gets rejected.

Well, instead of using the hatchet, he simply could have dropped in the floss and run it down the inside of the cookie.

Also, the damn router thing takes off part of the cookie and takes FOREVER. Terrible design, horribly inefficient.

By buying ads on Fark masquerading as a spontaneous interesting link, when in fact its nothing but got-damn viral marketing?

Piss off.

I hope you weren't truly expecting an oreo separator robot to be an endeavor that had efficiency involved at any point in the process

The linked site fails at the bolded criterion.  There is no embedded video, just a damn link.

As for #2, the /? can be your friend.  type it in, then whatever garbage you like to make it a 'new link.'  Really helpful for links that get red-lit for crappy headlines.
