What would you do?

Yeah, 6 and a half miles is a long time to spend thinking about where you're going to eat next.  I'm not saying it's right....

He's kinda cute. I'd let him make my wheels go round and round, if you know what I mean, and I think you do.

I tried to share this story with a coworker and he looked at me like I was stupid and said it happened weeks ago. Thanks fark for making me look slow.

dv-ous: Well, I guess he preferred it in prison. Certainly has a satisfied smile.

If his parents are abusive meth heads or something, then I can't really fault his logic, only his imagination.

That's actually the impression that I got, but that I know the kid. Maybe he just really didn't want to stay home.

People please note the RED FLAGS.  When this kid murders everyone in that town, we'll come back to this RED FLAG. Its always about red flags that should have been noticed.

/I will tell you so

Reading this sentence made my day better.

Understanding this sentence made my day weirder.

meow said the dog: Listen I can see the two sides of this issue as someone who is the person who does the seeing of the issues from one side and then from the other side.  The first side of this is saying you should not steal the bus and especially the bus which has shortness because the latter of these is what is ridden by most of those on the Fark.com website tab of politics and for this reason it leads to much sympathy.  However if you are the person upon which is trying to do the change in the life of you then perhaps you must do the thinking of should I be the individual who is on the straight or the narrow.  Although it is known by me that homosexuality is the learned behaviour I am not speaking of sexual preference when I use the term of straight here.  Instead I am stating that the person should enjoy the turning of the life from crime and the beginning of this should involve the following and that is to not engage in the criminal behaviors such as the grand mal auto seizure from the other individual.

The other side of this says that you should do the listening to me and that is that these are the individuals who are often not given the exercising privileges and for the reason of this how is it expected by you that this individual does the walking of many miles for the reason of the entertainment to you?  I am asking this because I have the wonderment of it so you can tell me this and I would have the appreciation.  He is not the individual who should need to do the walking as the time of he was serviced by the men who work there and for this reason they should provide the ride to the town of he.  Maybe you will say that he is one who should do the exercise for losing the weight but this makes for you the bigot.

/The surname of me is  SãÏdthě'døg

Your Engrish is superb!  However, giving people released from jail rides home is not what we do here.  It is the responsibilty for the the person to find their own ride home or walk.

gregscott: meow said the dog: gregscott: Before you feel sorry for this guy for having to walk so far:
1. Consider the big smile on the mug shot. He misses prison food, or Bubba.
2. Consider that his mother, father, siblings and "friends" didn't care enough about him to pick him up when he was released. I am sure that says a lot about the kind of person he is.

I could pull the seven year murdering spree of various individuals and the family of me would still have the love for me because they are not dirtscumbaglicks such as perhaps you would be if you think this is the appropriate treatment of the person who has engaged of crime to suggest that it is the fault of he as the opposition of the fault of the others for the choices of these individuals to not be the kind people to he.

So if a scum bag murderer can be a nice enough guy to get a ride from his family or friends, doesn't that

suggest that this guy is way down the list of what a likeable guy might be? Perhaps he even ranks below me!

Or perhaps his family is one abusive shiat head father who used to pin him down in the middle of the night and make use of him in untoward ways and no one ever tried to help so he has developed a f* ck all attitude for a society that never stepped in to defend a helpless little boy?

None of you have any farking clue who this kid is so before you go spouting off nonsense about execution or dismemberment why dont you take a long look at yourselves and realize that the most common trait in criminals is the same lack of empathy you have so wonderfully exhibited in this thread.

Hey, you might want to try the decaf. I didn't refer to execution or dismemberment.
I wish I was as in good physical shape as that "helpless" boy is.
I do have clues: his smug self-satisfied look on his mug shot, the fact that he stole a two hour to avoid a 2 hour walk that would have kept him warm in itself, if he walked briskly, and the fact that he was already a felon in the first place.

Your speculations about his horrible home are merely speculations. If he were a "decent" human being, I imagine he would probably, though not absolutely certainly, have a friend to give him a lift to where he was headed. At worst, he could have started the bus, and slept in it to stay warm, and continued when the weather got better. If he was in real trouble, he could have asked somebody for help. Folks in that area can be a little strange, but generally it's not "deliverance" country. That's nearby, but not right there.

*Sniffle*

I guess I should just go and end it all, since I'm no better than a common criminal.

SevenizGud: Cup_O_Jo: He lacks reasoning and should be executed. Save us millions in tax dollars over the years.

Yeah. It will be interesting to see how the apologists react when he rapes some 12 year old girl in front of her parents, and then kills them, and leaves her to die duct-taped to a tree 10 miles from anywhere.

But I am sure he's a good kid deep down, right?

/please die in jail, cancer-on-society dude

You know, if their was ever an argument FOR eugenics, this is it.

/In all seriousness I wouldn't want the horrors of widespread eugenics programs back... But maybe we should think about sterilizing convicted and irredeemable sociopaths, violent criminals, and just plain stupid criminals.

Walk ten miles in the snow for a minimum wage job.  He has choices.

Representative of the unwashed masses: Y'know would it really be that expensive for the jail to give released prisoners a ride into the nearest town if they don't have someone to pick them up?  Seems kind-a douchy to me...

That really caught my attention.  I thought of the movie Moonrunners when I saw his mug.  Now that you mention it, the cop early in the movie releasing one of the Duke boys drove him to the county line and dropped him off.  Also, I recall that is what first ticked off Rambo, they gave him a lift out of town and told him to not come back.

Not if he wants to eat that night.  And maybe not the next few.  He probably did have choices before he got nabbed the first time, though.

Lotsa holes in this story...would MARTA even get into Tennessee? What was he originally in jail (at 17) for? And was he expected to walk 14 miles to school? I don't get it...and MARTA blows, anyway. Now, if he hijacked a MARTA train, and got it off the rails, and THEN started down the highway...that would be something! Hell, he could run for governor!

Why didn't he just hitch-hike?

Oh right, 'cause he might have run into a criminal or something.
