You ever think mayyyybe Kimmel's show booked Morrissey opposite something to do with meat just so Kimmel would be able to make fun of him?

nah, couldn't be it

Duck Dynasty really stretches the definition of reality television.  It's more like a series of skits where the participants are given direction for what their characters will do in the scene.

That's reality television.

Hmm.  So I suppose that means these are really just  the worst actors in the reality TV genre.

You have to give Morrissey credit in that he sticks to his beliefs.  That, and the fact that he wrote and performed the best songs in the history of music.

Kimmel should have seen that coming.

Unless he did and this is just free publicity all the way around the board.

STRYPERSWINE: Ted Nugent > Morrissey

THAT would be the ultimate 1-2 guest segment (and it doesn't matter in what order they appear)....but, love him or hate him, Nugent wouldn't back out just because he disagrees with Morrisey.  In fact, I'm sure he would relish the chance to go toe to toe with him over the issue....AND it would be hilarious!

/of course, Morrisey would cancel to protect his delicate sensibilities

If by "best" you mean "whiniest and most shoe-gazing" then I would have to agree with you.  I think I would actually faint if I ever heard this guy say anything remotely positive EVER.

Honestly, that sounds like the dumbest thing I can imagine.  Canned attack vs. canned response.  They already  had a show like that called "Crossfire" and in its short life only idiots watched it.

Ted:  I prefer the freedom of liberty to provide meat to feed me from which God has provided for use to use on this great land!
Morrissey:  Meat is murder.

Hilarious.

The big Mo has always been a bit of a joke.  I like that he sticks to his guns because we can consistently laugh at him.  You either love him or hate him.  I'll hate his horrible music and just laugh at him, and his bizarre antics, instead.

Ted: Obama sucks!

Hilarious.

In other words: Canned Hunting vs. Canned Response.

I went ahead and FTFY...

Oh please....Nugent isn't exactly known for his restraint, especially on something like hunting/killing/eating meat....he would go on forever.  And Morrisey (not that I'm a fan, nor do I think his "stand" is all that important or smart) at least seems to be equally committed to his cause...and is just as much of an AW...

Not shoe-gazing. Moz's protein deficiency is so severe, he lacks the strength to actually hold his head up.

They should let ted Nugent hunt Morrissey. That would be great.

That's what makes it so terrible.  Nugent talks so damn much, but he says so little.   Maybe I would have cared what Morrisey thought 30 years ago.

Actually, that goes for both of them.

That, and the guy sings like he's either deaf or has grotesquely swollen tonsils. Seriously, WTF is up with his voice?

From "These Things Take Time" to "The Queen is Dead" to  "Rusholme Ruffians" to "Death of a Disco Dancer" to his solo stuff...Pure perfection.

That said, Clash City Farker's comment up there is hilarious.

Crossfire ran for 23 years, not exactly a short life.  But it was on CNN, so your idiots comment is valid.

This is a song I wrote at at time in my life when I was very, very very sad... breakfast, actually.  It's called, "Hairdresser in a Coma".

"Did I mention that I cried?"
