Yeah, you keep being soft on these chemical terrorists.

I say make them dig their own hole and give them two taps.

The side bar had a story about a attempted ATM break-in . What, no turtles?

I knew somebody who lived in that building while I was in college at SUNY-Binghamton there in 1990.  If it is the same place I am thinking about - unless they had made major upgrades to that place in the last 20 odd years, the cleaning that resulted from the dousing with the fire hoses probably increased the resale value of the complex significantly.

//Loved SUNY-B, and the Ale House down the street!

As soon as I saw Binghamton in the headline I knew it was the meth fire.  I saw that story the other day and I thought, "Oh good, that's going to change the perception of our area."

Lived in that area for a little over a year.  Run down town, but I met a lot of good people there.

Oh, and Michelangelo's restaurant on Court St. has the best Chicken Marsala of ALL TIME.

I guess you just don't know sarcasm when you read it.

Had an Indian coworker who lived in those buildings while studying at SUNY. Called it "worse than Mumbai".

I can't believe you  ran that story, but missed this one on the same page:  http://www.wbng.com/home/Third-body-found-and-second-body-identified- i n-Walton-193084301.html   -  "The body of a man missing since 2010 was found at the home of a woman connected to last week's suicide and arson in the Town of Walton. ..."

Thats one that just opens itself up to questions.

Where are you located at the moment?  If you aren't familiar with the area, I can try to help if I can.

Badly worded on my part.  I took his post to mean that he was passing through the area, but stuck due to weather.  I used to live in the area, so I offered to help him with any tips/directions that he might need.

We lived in Unadilla up until the beginning of this month. Now in Washington State (the dry part). I see we left just in time before the craziness started.
