It makes perfect sense.  When a market is open, competition becomes the driving force.  And thus even government agencies have to join the market and compete in order to have their issues addressed.

So the government is in control of the public sector but shouldn't get advice from the leaders of the public sector.......no only corporations who spend millions should ever advise our lawmakers.

Well it's near impossible to pass, and would have to be implemented in a series of complex stages, so it's not easy in that regard, but it solves so many issues. The idea of states' rights was a horrible idea from the start and was largely born out of fear and greed. Fear and greed that still thrives today in the Republican base.

No - it just requires a judiciary that doesn't cling to outdated, romanticized notions about states' rights

The same could be said about federalism if you know your history.  The state rights thing isn't new by any means.
