There is an unspoken hole in that logic that has bothered me ever since I first saw Office Space:  What if you kick the ass of somebody's biatch?

Good evening, sir, and welcome to our hotel.  According to your reservation, your sentence is 72 hours in room 224.    Enjoy your stay, and may God have mercy on your soul!

Well, obviously the smart move would be to kick the ass of someone else that was processed at the same time as you.  Do it right away so they don't have the time to be claimed as someone's biatch.

From what I've gathered from speaking to people who've been in prison, it's terrible advice, anyway. The sensible thing to do is to keep your head down and make friends with whoever looks nonthreatening and is the same race as you (yeah, criminals are pretty unenlightened about that sort of thing).

France has 102 prisonners for 100.000 inhabitants.
China has 122.

Is there is a better indicator that something is wrong in the USA, I don't know what it is. The USA is the country that incarcerate its population the most.

There's a flaw in this comparison. There are other ways to punish a criminal other than imprisonment. It would be better to compare how many people have been convicted of a felony-class crime (or comparable) per capita. Some are surely executed, others may be flogged, and some exiled. Various cultures may be inclined to prefer one over the others, leading to an appearance of low criminal activity, when in fact it's simply a low rate of an expensive form of punishment.

USA still manage to incarcerate 7 and a half time as many people as France. Now, I've lived 3 and a half year in the USA. It did not feel like there were seven and a half time more criminials than in France, or otherwise the country would have been pure chaos. So now, why does your country incarcerate so many people ?

Kick the ass of the first person who treats you like a biatch. Win or get beat to  a pulp, just don't try and talk it out with them.  YMMV as this comes from research for college.
