Make condoms from these to power the vibrator up her ass.

You know, that could lead to some interesting possibilities.  More heat leads to increased vibration, increased vibration leads to more heat generation...it's the vibrator singularity.

Someone didn't read TFA.

It's a heat differential, so two warm surfaces= no power.

Okay, so stick a heatsink on the end of the vibrator.  What now mr. smartypants?

Dammit, I'm tired of people stealing my ideas... First, I told a buddy how cool it would be if they made a device that you could plug into the wall, and then plug your appliances into to see how much current they drew over a certain period of time, 2 years later, the Kill-A-Watt hits the market.

Recently, I told my wife that they should develop a film or something that you could wear, and it would be inductive, drawing from the bio-electric process in your body to power devices like phones and iPods. Now they have this. A different process, but the same damned basic concept.

The sheet uses the thermoelectric effect, which generates a voltages due to the temperature difference between the surface of an object and its reverse side. The sheet is 0.4mm thick and soft.

Yes, but can it be used to clean up sex stains?

What if you're banging a gusher? Electrocution risk?

Me, I invented the relationship saver. You step on a foot pedal like on a trashcan when you take a piss. Release, seat goes down. You can't explain that.

Won't work. I've lost many a girlfriend pissing into her trashcan.

A swift kick in the heat sink? You're going to have to handle the thing; it's not going to be efficient.

I think what you'd need to do is get her to wear a generator pad on her back (and you a small one on your scrot)--then get busy on a cold marble / tile floor. There's your heat difference.

Something like 15 years ago or so I bought one of the first MP3 players Samsung ever made. I had the idea that since it was so small (for the time) and light that I should integrate it in to my clothes... so I bought a jacket and sewed in a special pocket for it, some guides for the cabling of my headphones, a mounting point inside my lapel for the remote so I could control the MP3 player just by opening my jacket slightly and using the remote, and little loops to hang my earphones from but hidden away under the collar when not in use.

My friends all told me it was a stupid idea and I was "just ruining a perfectly good jacket". I ignored them, and did it anyway, and used it happily for years. Once they saw it in action all my friends were all, "Ooooooh! I guess that IS cool - you should patent that" and now those features are standard on most jackets you buy. They were wrong about the idea being stupid, but certainly right that I should have tried to patent it.

Really? I mean, I live in Florida and haven't bought a jacket in a long long time, but really? This statement seems to be a bit of an exaggeration. Pretty good idea though. I'll give you credit there.

I see a Future Japan forcing their weirdass, frakked up, morally apprehensible society to participate in equally bizarre gameshows in order to harness this energy. It'll be a 24 hour thing. Ratings juggernaut. They'll be chased by genetically created monsters from folklore, threatened with tentacle rape, and all that.

They are cheap for the night and they have spas. No women, as there's no doors, just screens.

With millions of people around, novelty is enough. they're only in the real hot spots, like Shinjuku and Shibuya. Shinjuku ALSO has a caberet club where they ride around on robotic fem-bots with big boobs and gundam legs. I wouldn't call it the norm, however.
