She made a fool of herself at the World Series and then did it again during Daytona. There are some great female sports reporters out there -- Krista Vodka was a great example yesterday. But Fox being Fox, it shouldn't be surprising that they tried to boost rating with Erin.

hand on my heart, i saw a black guy yesterday wearing a "Dale #3 In Our Hearts Forever" t shirt.  one, i thought it was just something you don't see, second, he was at a basketball game WHILE DAYTONA WAS ON.

(maybe like me, he DRV'd the race to watch it later)

I'm guessing Erin only wanted the real thing, tongue and all, and that's why she was so frustrated.

For the same reason Kanye thought it was OK to interrupt someone else's speech. Pure, unadultered ego. The delusion that everyone else thinks they're as important/handsome/sexy/talented as they themselves have been led to believe, and so such things are not just OK, but desired by their unwilling participants.

The camera went to him right after the invocation (before which the reverend asked people to remove their hats) and it was still on. That or he put it back on really quickly. As to the anthem, I don't remember.
