louiedog: Didn't read the article, but it was the lead story on the local news and so got caught up at the end of my DVR 3 minute recording buffer the other night. It seemed like fire and rescue was out there trying to push the dog back to land with their boat and helicopter. This is taking place over about an hour or so I think and people show up as word spreads. A guy who already hangs out in the lake during the winter and has the gear finds out, grabs his suit and kayak, and goes to help. The dog is afraid of him but he manages to get it back to land where it takes off running. Someone with the city then manages to corner and catch the dog. He is reunited with the owner the next day.
