TyrantII: I seriously thought they called him up and put him in Tron: Legacy until the credits rolled.

When the time comes for the biopic to happen, it's going to be a tossup between Michael Sheen and Tilda Swinton for the role.

WhippingBoy: darch: I am at the age that I only got to experience 80's MTV Bowie. I REALLY love "China Girl". The lyrics, the music, the feeling... love it. However, I am aware that he was quite the ground-breaker in the '70's.

The original Iggy Pop version of China Girl is actually cooler than the Bowie version.

Yeah, I'm dancin' to the Bauhaus cover of Ziggy Stardust. Classic.

swahnhennessy: HotWingAgenda: Six_By_Nine: Gratch: Not possible, as Bowie reached the maximum coolness allowed by humans a long time ago.

This.

I'm gonna go watch Labyrinth now.  Again.  Those scenes.  Ahem.

Add me to this list.  Jennifer Connolly was viciously hot in that movie, and the addition of the muppets and Bowie makes it a perfect first date DVD.

For paedophiles.

WTF did that come from?

Bowie has always been that cool. He's now cool as a blowback option on his own fame. Hating Bowie is as cool for Bowie as liking him. He is, and always has been, and always will be, Quantum Bowie.

That is such a fun movie.  He was perfect for it.

derpy: That's an impressive amount of cool.

Uncorrectitude=maximum, by virtue of impossibility. The Sovereign couldn't possibly be any cooler, so him being cooler than I suspected just can't be.
