Wow, cool to see Montezuma's Revenge on that list.  Played the hell out of that one back in the day on my 800XL. Also played the Winter Games/Summer Games and even bought the Epyx500 joystick specifically for those games. Anyone remember that one? www.pikamac.com

How about Super Bruce Lee? i.ytimg.comI remember playing that one FORever and eventually finishing it, only to have it go back to the first screen. Kinda disappointing, was hoping for some sort of firreworks. God help me if these games are still online, I'd never get anything done around here!

Below the Root was awesome. That and Wizardry were two of the best non-Interactive Fiction DOS games in the 80s

I say Shadowgate, The Uninvited and Deja Vu. I know those weren't popular with my friends.

Alphax: Montezuma's Revenge.. I had the Apple IIe version, and lots of friends and family played the crap out of it.

HHGG text adventure.  Played it, but never finished.  Fairly creative, but it got especially complicated after you get to trigger the Infinite Improbability drive.

I don't know anyone who's finished HHGG, but almost everyone has played it.
