Good bye, Dalek designer guy.

/No, not the guy from Skaro.

screw living that long. it's fine if you're a Dalek but for humans it's mostly suffering and decay.

Sad.  But if written characters could reflect on their creator's lives the Doctor might be doing his giddy laugh and a jaunty dance.

KrispyKritter: screw living that long. it's fine if you're a Dalek but for humans it's mostly suffering and decay.

Just because you get old doesn't mean you have to get decrepit. If you stay in reasonably good shape and socially active throughout your life, you're quite likely to be happy and able to live well right up until you die. If you sit around, alone, and let your body decay, then yes you'll likely slowly slip into senility while your body spends 20 years slowly falling to pieces. Your choice...

Cusick deserved way more credit than he got and half the cash that Terry Nation got from all the Dalek licensed stuff. Terry Nation got a lot of undue credit and man did he suck it all up with vintage douche bag style.

Yeah, whoever wrote that scene deserves a cookie.

The Daleks and the Cybers just stand there yakkity-yaking at each other for 5 minutes like like they're in a witless "your mama" content, and while  that one line is good, whoever wrote that scene also wrote:

"You are superior in only one respect."
"What. Is. That?"
"You are better at dying."

That is farking pathetic dialog. Just pathetic. Whoever wrote that scene deserves a cock-punch.

Apparently, I'm not the only one who's thought of adding ? crap to the end of the URL that gets ignored by the web server so as to make the link submission to Fark unique.

Sometimes that's a way to get a new modmin to look at a story that really should be on Fark, but was red-lit once already for some inexplicable reason.

/Of course, I would never do anything like that myself
