Oh man, that parking garage could keep me busy for hours.  More intellectually stimulating than Fark, for sure.

Parking garage was tight.

Not as sexually stimulating. Or is it?

I rember playing with the Garage and Airport at Grandmas house. I remembered playing with the castle, the schoolhouse and the farm... I just don't remember if we owned them....

I had a good portion of those as a kid. I think I liked the castle the best. The parking garage was always good for getting my baby brother's hand trapped under the elevator.

Some of those really brought back some memories.

I had the schoolhouse, the airport and the parking garage. Man I loved those toys.

Thanks to flea markets and resale shops, my son has a ton of these.  The hospital was my favorite when I was a kid, but now that we have the western town, I think I'd have liked that better. Not that I play with them.

But I do.

I don't think there's much else in the world as exciting and cheerful as old FIsher Price toys.  Maybe when the old school Manger Scene came out of the attic, or possibly your Dad unboxing a Big Wheel or BMX bike.

The Parking Garage was the only one I had. I think it was a hand-me-down from my older cousins. I didn't have any of the Little People, so I used other toys and vehicles with it. I think it was mainly a plastic army man outpost. Been over 30 years since I last saw it.

I had the play farm, parking garage and the yellow family house.  Good times for sure, spent countless hours playing with those as a kid.

I had the school and the farm.  My kids have the school now and my niece has the farm.  We grew up 10 minutes from F-P headquarters and took the tour quite a few times.  I need to get my youngest in there next time we're at Grampa's house.

I had the hospital for sure. The airplane from the 2nd airport set looks very familiar but I don't remember the rest of it. I think a friend might have had the parking garage.

You can get all those in good shape on eBay. I bought my grand kids almost all the sets.

I still have a box of peeps and vehicles to mail off.

Where the fark was the circus train? That was the best one of all time!

OF ALL TIME!

I don't think I ever managed to break a single Fisher Price toy. Lord knows I tried.

Garage, Airport, McDonalds, A-Frame.  And I miss them all.

Wow, thanks subby.

The Airport was 110% weapons-grade awesome. Love the farm too (with the barn door that mooed).

wow. Between the 6 of us, we had a whole lot of those.  There were only a few that I didn't recognize.
They were fun.  The new larger, supposedly choke proof ones kinda suck though.

The Castle was always my favorite....that survived into Star Wars action figure territory.

We still have a few of those.. and let my niece and nephew play with them.  #22 Village was the best.. though I vaguely remember making it snow, using a salt shaker, while it was set up on my parents' bed..

Also still have #7: Airport 2.  I recognize some of the others that childhood friends of mine had.

The village has a crank-powered fire station alarm.. we had to stop my nephew from turning it while the rest of us were watching The Avengers last month..

The Western Town had some neat features too.

Oh yell yes. I had tons of these (all from garage sales, mind you.) I especially loved the parking garage and the Sesame Street apartments.
