Brony is just an ass who tries to use association with Brony culture to cover that fact.

Two problems with that.

Your first flawed assumption is that I'm not happy being an ass, especially to people like you.
Your second flawed assumption is that it doesn't give my black heart a little twinge of happiness to see you rage on FARK about it.

Rage? Please. Pure schadenfreude.

Wow, I really enjoyed smacking the shiat out of Fluttershy.  I'm bookmarking this for when I just need to hit something.  Too bad there aren't options as to objects you can use for the smacking - like a fist, a bat, a brick, or a mackerel.

BronyMedic: For what it's worth, Shadow, I'm sorry it did so.

Its cool.

If you were just another poster I would not have given two bucks about it.. But you're not, at least not to me.

I consider you a friend on here, and I respect you and what you do, and your a really smart person and I thought that what you posted was stupid and trite and was kinda hurtful to me. I have a lot of friends who like NASCAR.. I like NASCAR, and I get pissed when someone goes off on one of those "Lump the fans into the lowest common denominator of the group" things. Health and Safety workers are the most likely people to be hurt at a speedway (some of them were hurt today) and when you posted that... meh.. whatever. I expect more of you because I know you are smarter than that.

It's obvious there is a trait we have in common... ignorance pisses us right the hell off... and well, you were one of those people for a couple minutes, and it pissed me off.

I'm over it as of now...

Now.. for MY CSB

There is a local group of 20-30 something bronies who hang out at the goth club spinning poi on the dancefloor and generally being ravers on goth night. Ultra-brite LED's and other shiat on the dancefloor, which we are usually not appreciative of. (We like the dancefloor dark for a reason)

I "loved and tolerated... but advised them to chill" for two weeks. Then one of them who was rollin' wasn't paying attention and hit me with poi .. on the farking dance floor, and I had him kicked out (I have been a regular at the club for almost a decade.. so when I say someone needs to go .. they go)

On the way out, I confiscated his pony figurine (they all carry them... anyone who doesn't have a pony on them at all times, when challenged to "pony up" has to buy the next round of drinks or pay for a meal or whatever) and told him that he could have it back next week, when and if he wrote a letter to the club owner explaining what he had learned tonight. And "It had better be a letter fit for a Princess to read, or I'll have your ass banned till season 4".

He did it. He wrote the letter, it was polite and apologetic.. and he has stopped his friends from spinning poi on the dancefloor (That is what the columns and corners are for)

We had a large amount of people walk away from the group - over 40 active members in a group of 240 - especially the online Skype and discussion boards, when all this went down. I left it when the harassment began with my employer and my ex-wife, and was basically told that if I didn't have transcripts or a recording of her doing it to prove it, that nothing could happen. A lot of the problem was that being in a group which has the appearance of protecting people who are acting predatory towards children is something that makes me ethically and professionally uncomfortable, and the people who were considered the "founders" of the group had basically turned over operations to a group of people who didn't care, or couldn't see it.

The sad thing is that the girl in question that carried the fact she couldn't use myself and my friends IRL had done this to multiple other people. Her MO was basically to buddy up to people she could get to feel sorry for her or she could use for her advantage, and then turn the group against them once she could no longer do so.

Defensive Brony is defensive.

I've been monitoring /mlp/ over @ 4chan for the past few weeks. The levels of butthurt rage have been the likes of which even God has never seen.  Their already-thin skins are only microns thick now. Even Lauren Faust has been a bawling mess about the direction the show has been taking.

Face Reality you ManTards! The show was never meant for you in the first place! It was a show for little grade-school girls. Always was, and always will be. The show isn't there for you. It was put there to make a toy company lots of money.

BronyMedic: Shadow Blasko: Love and tolerate eh?

Uh, no. Love and tolerate?

I'll expand on why I separated myself from the local group.

I'm not going to love and tolerate a person who showed up at my place of employment, refused to leave when asked, and had to be escorted off the grounds by security because he wanted to "hang out" with me after following the person I was seeing at the time who was bringing me dinner. The same person who then went off several weeks later to complain about how he had to wait 30 minutes on his drive home because an officer of the Memphis Police Department, killed in the line of duty after taking a bullet meant for her partner, had her funeral procession delay him, and then said that was "selfish" for them to do to him. The same person who went to the head of the group and accused me of starting drama, while protecting another individual who had caused several of the underaged people (read: 13 - 17 year old girls) to leave the group because he made them uncomfortable. A person who, even after I left the group, continued to talk bad about me behind my back to my friends. This is that 18 year old with the "punchable" face. He's the one who called my room mate's girlfriend, someone I highly respect, "a biatch and told her to leave, the men were talking about ponies." (Not even being joking on this one)

I'm not going to love and tolerate a woman who stole and traced a good friend of mine's art and lied about it when confronted, who I actually at one point tried to help because supposedly she was stuck with an "abusive" room mate (but is now in business with that room mate), who lied about being ill and in the hospital to get money and free stuff from members in the group, and who after I refused to let her and her "husband" at the time use my spare room, decided to insert herself into my divorce, tell my ex-wife I was hiding money and sleeping with under aged girls in the group, as well as tried to involve my employer by telling them that I was re ...

lol I've been around the furry fandom for over 20 years and have considered myself a member of it since '99 and I swear, the brony fandom is going through in just over three years what took the furry fandom almost thirty to go through. It's like watching the last two decades of my furry fandom experience happen in fast forward time lapse.

Sorry, but the fandoms aren't just cousins, they're one in the freaking same. Same basic idea, same kinds of people, same drama. Same amount of hypocrisy, too.

I love and hate both just as much sometimes. Mostly, I just wish I had more friends in both. People in both talk a good game when it comes to friendship but when it comes to actually following through, most of the people I ended up trusting ended up being users.

haven't watched ponies since season 2. friend of mine who was going out with this much younger guy (despite the hubby not knowing the relationship went beyond just fun time friends) decided to confide in me and tell me what was going on, making me complicit in her cheating on hubby. I finally convinced her to do the right thing. Her relationship with the bf fell apart of course but her and hubby are ok and now bf has a girl. Everyone turned out ok but because I was in the middle, im Mr. Guilty memories. Now I don't have anyone to watch the show with and frankly every time i see pony stuff it's pretty hard not to think of how shiatty i got treated even tho I basically helped save a marriage and a friendship.

her and ex bf still watch pony together apparently im not welcome. boo hoo me friendship is tragic whatever
