If that was in the US, you know they'd be tased and thrown in jail. I fully support what these people are doing.

If it weren't for the undesirable weather, I could really fit in with the United Kingdom.

This is awesome, and not just because I'm a motorcycle fanatic.

I feel this way about Canada.

Especially if you were wearing the face of a terrorist like Guy Fawkes.

If their government were not out of control, their efforts would not be necessary. America is not far behind.

"cover their faces with V For Vigilante masks "

I don't know what's worse..  The fact a BRITISH publication didn't know to call it a Guy Fawkes mask.. or the fact they still screwed up the pop culture reference instead.

In Australia, the government is obliged by law to put sign saying you're entering an area with speed cameras, and people still get caught.

Same with Quebec. Former Montreal mayor tried to get signs that said "in this city there's speed/red light cams", but was shot down for obvious money grabbing.

Clockwork Orange reference?

I don't think you understood that movie or even the book..

Fark these assholes. Obey the law and you will have no problems. These assholes wearing Vendetta masks are just that. Assholes.

They claim they're fighting against injustice, but what they really want is anarchy.

There's a reason people laughed at poser anarchists back in the late '70s and early '80s. We should still be laughing at them now instead of embracing them.

Happy Hours:Fark these assholes. Obey the law and you will have no problems. These assholes wearing Vendetta masks are just that. Assholes.

They claim they're fighting against injustice, but what they really want is anarchy.

Some offences committed by British traffic wardens:
A man who had parked on double yellow lines while being treated in hospital for a heart attack - and whose nurse had left a note on his car explaining the situation - receives a parking fine.
A crash victim emerges from hospital to find the mangled remains of her moped covered in parking tickets.
A driver is given a parking ticket after stopping to save the life of a crash victim.
And, more bizarre then evil, but still: A Swedish man who hasn't left his country all year is fined for parking his  snowmobile in Warwick. In June.
Call it anarchy if you will, but somebody needs to stand up to this kind of thing.

we have vigorously enforced laws against shiat like this.  it's called  defeating the ends of justice, and will land you in jail, whether you are guilty or not.

make$ you kind of wonder what the end'$ of ju$tice really is all about now, don't it???

They got the pop culture reference. It is a mask from a film therefore it's perfectly correct to call it as such. The mask has nothing to do with the actual historical figure of Guido Fawkes.

The thing that changed in the UK was that it stopped being run by the police, with the job of keeping the roads clear, to private companies working for councils who gained revenues for tickets.

A private contractor will watch as you park your car on a double yellow line, and when out of sight, will ticket you. Which is wrong, because the point of traffic wardens, why we have double yellow lines, is to keep the roads clear.

When the police ran it, if they spotted you getting out of a car, they would warn you that you would get ticketed if you did that. If you were then a moron, you'd get a ticket. But they didn't want to give you a ticket, they wanted to keep the road clear.

Then again, a lot of people just try it on, take the risk etc. I used to park in a 1hr parking area because it was cheaper for going to work than paying £2/day in parking. I'd get a ticket every few months, which still meant it was cheaper.

They still screwed it up, as it's V for Vendetta not Vigilante.
