Isn't this like the 400th time they've threatened to destroy us?

L.D. Ablo: Isn't this like the 400th time they've threatened to destroy us?

No because they do not lie and if they had ever said that you better believe the US would have been destructed.

I gotta imagine that even Kim Jong Fatty knows that North Korea would be quickly destroyed if they actually attacked South Korea, Japan, or the US, and that China wouldn't do much more to back them up than sending a strongly worded letter to the State Department.  These threats are probably more for internal consumption than anything.

I just wish that China would step up here and say, "Look, you wanna talk, we can talk.  Cut the crazy bomber bullshiat."  But China seems to want to be thought of as a superpower, but doesn't want to do any of the work that a superpower needs to do.

North Korea has teamed up with the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation.

Did they watch that Red Dawn remake on the weekend?

I played Homefront.  The North Koreans aren't that tough.

Then why keep releasing them? Just pass out an internal memo. At some point there has to be diminishing returns on a threat, a "boy who cried wolf" if you will.

Miserable destruction is best destruction.

My headline didn't win, so the terrorists have won, or something.

We're already dealing with the GOP. How much more miserable can it get?

In Best Korea, this is known as "the boy who claimed his grandfather was trying to cook and eat him".

2013-02-23 07:37:53 PM
Maybe we should send some drones over best Korea, just for the lulz.

The only people who is viewing china as a superpower are mainly people like you. They couldn't care less either way and the term 'superpower' itself doesn't even exist in Mandarin. It was a termed coined by Americans for America.

I know they are just posturing (probably for their own citizens more than anybody else), and it's best to ignore them...but some small part of me thinks it would be funny if something of theirs blew up every time they said something like this.

"We will kill you all..."
    Boom
"What happened to that airbase?"

"We will rain death down upon you from above..."
     Boom
"Wait, where did the palace go?"

2013-02-23 07:43:01 PM
I'm betting on melancholic destruction.

2013-02-23 07:43:25 PM
I'd be a lot more worried that the Best Koreans were coming to eat us. That would be pretty miserable, come to think of it.

L.D. Ablo: Isn't this like the 400th time they've threatened to destroy us?

But this time, they have actual, deployable, reliable nuclear weapons. With an accurate, long range missile system.

/yeah, right

Best Korea Leader has been married for less than a year and already wishes for the sweet, sweet release of death.

2013-02-23 07:44:28 PM
North Korea will never intentionally start shiat with us or South Korea.  But, I do worry if rhetoric like this will get some random soldier on a cannon near the DMZ a little too hyped up on patriotism (and deluded by hunger) to pull the trigger and start a chain reaction that leads to thousands of deaths.

No, they can keep crying wolf, and it will keep working.

Spend some time in church this Sunday, then imagine a whole country that works that way.

2013-02-23 07:45:22 PM
I just can't understand how freaking incompetent their propaganda is.  With all their plots over the years, you'd think they'd have a few of their foreign educated people act as propaganda advisors.  "Yeah, miserable destruction?  They'll laugh and think we're idiots."

"There are no American infidels in Baghdad Tehran. Never!"
"Our initial assessment is that they will all die"
"God will roast their stomachs in hell at the hands of Iraqis Iranians."
"No I am not scared, and neither should you be!"
"Be assured. Baghdad Tehran. is safe, protected"
"Who are in control, they are not in control of anything - they don't even control themselves!"

I dunno.  Some of the stuff they've done recently, like sinking that frigate and shelling the island?  And years past, the commando raids and what not?  I'm remarkably surprised how restrained the US and Korea's responses have been.

I'm imagining a mid-30's man in NK who's not that unlike myself, reading this info about the destruction of America, thinking "haha, we should totally do it. We should just totally nuke those dumb farkers back to the stone age!"

Then I look around at the people (well, alts, probably) I'm surrounded by, and I kind of get it. He's the guy at the pho shop everyone is pretty much tired of hearing talk. At least here I can disagree without being imprisoned.

/Stupid NK guy. Shoulda picked a better country to be born in.

The Best Koreans could save a lot of money if they made their hats smaller. I would suggest a tasteful kepi... but Fatty Leader might think they were mocking his hair...um...style.

/and medals... what's with all the decorations? Cripes.

I was going to say I'd rather go out the way the guy in "Meaning of Life" did... but then I thought about it and there's lots of infertile women out there. Some of them must be hot. Maybe they can fark me to death.

Why do we put up with crap from those roaches? We should drop a few dozen nukes on their asses then ask them if they'd like to talk some more shiat.

Maybe it's the angle of the photo.  Maybe it's the fact that this kid is easily 2 - 3 times larger than the rest of the men in that photo.  But it really does look like he's got freakishly small, delicate little hands.

because they would level Seoul with artillery. that and we're the good guy who is too much of a boyscout.

Well, actually they said:  비참 파괴

I would like to know what the chinese and norks say to each other. Its widely reported that one major reason China supports NK is simply to prevent a massive humanitarian disaster from happening on its doorstep and sending refugees by the millions across the border.

However, lately it seems that they are pushing even China a bit too much.

Would've been funnier if you'd said "NUTS".

And if you'd been in Bastogne.  In the winter.  Surrounded by Germans.

It couldn't possibly be as miserable as just being North Korea is.

I'd take a snu-snuing for the team
