In a long, nearly unbroken, endless stream of asshatted stupidity by this particular cohort of Christianity, this is the dumbest I have seen in a long time.

Those damned Indians haven't invaded a foreign nation in thousands of years.  Clearly they're everything the religious right opposes.

In case you might not have realized it, when Evangelical Christians say "religion" what they typically mean is "my version of Christianity".

I don't think it has much to do with religion, it's more of a dominance thing.  People who want power over other people to make themselves feel big, sort of like a bully.

Oh, I don't doubt you at all.  I just find it amusing when evangelicals advocate to remove the barriers between religion and government.  We all know they just want their brand of fundamentalism represented in government and not the whacko Muslims or dirty Hindus.

It's enjoyable to see their choice of language come back to bite them on the ass.

Broyles runs a small legal outfit called the National Center for Law and Policy, which, according to its website, defends "faith, family and freedom.  hypocrisy.

That type never seems to have trouble with hypocrisy. They will say/believe anything based on what their ideology demands at that moment.
