Zombie Butler: quatchi: You can say what you want about despotic theocratic regimes but at least the bankers get hung on time.

Bravo sir.

I don't agree with the hanging but I do like the idea of the stocks.  Not the stocks that you see from the movies but the Chinese ones my old landlord told me about.

The criminal (thief) would sit on a chair, then a board would be placed over his/her head. There are three holes in the board, two for the hands and one for the head. The hand holes are placed far enough away from the head that the criminal can't feed him/her self.

For the sentenced time the prisoner must rely on the kindness of his/her fellow villagers for food, water, and protection from the elements. They are forced to rely on the society they farked by the theft. They are forced to beg for forgiveness to obtain kindness.

I'd also say that they must live on minimum wage for an amount of years. Country club prisons are too good for them.

[okaywiththis]

And for the record I too am against Capitol punishment and my Weeners should be taken with a large grain of salt or simply recognized as snark in case folks didn't get that.

"And then I realized they were stronger than we, because they had the strength... the strength... to do that. If we had lawmakers who would pass a bill instituting the death penalty for banking crimes right here in America, our troubles would be over very quickly.  "

Iran is one of only three countries left in the world whose central bank is not under Rothschild control. Before 9-11 there were reportedly seven: Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea and Iran.

Hanging is a little harsh folks.

I'd much rather see them every day, day after day after day, forced to do something useful, like cleaning out toilets and slaughter houses.

Surgically implant tracking bracelets and tattoo their offense across their foreheads.

Lsherm: namatad: Vodka Zombie: When our bankers commit fraud, they don't even see the inside of a courtroom.

Imagine if Bernie Madoff had been slow hung on Wall Street instead of sent to that comfy prison?

Madoff only got caught because he stole from the rich. was a lone wolf who didn't belong to a big bank like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, CitiGroup, etc. with members protected by the corporate veil.  he should have stuck to stealing from the poor like the rest of them.

FTFY.

Real shame it is impotent.

Absolutely, I got it.  I just loved your play on making the trains run on time. Good stuff.

Ya see? There is something good even in the worst of people.
The only thing to stop the banker from ripping us off is action other than fines.
We used to hang thieves in this country, until the thieves got elected or posted in the places that matter.
