Hot like a late inning rally. Not that we see many of those, but I've seen them before.

Col @ AZ (AZ -1.5)  tough one.....I'm taking Colorado here, as I think the layoff is bad for the Snakes and they will be a little complacent in the home opener.  Gotta ride Colorado here.

CWS @ LAD (CWS -2.5).  I think the Dodgers will be still kinda reeling, as is all of LA, from Dr. Buss' death, so I think they will be somewhere else mentally.  Taking the Southsiders in a romp.

I'm trying to get Caesar's to take me up on a "Oscars won by Argo" + "laps Danica leads" over/under versus total runs scored in all Cactus and Grapefruit league games tomorrow.  I really like Argo tomorrow, big, and Danica on the pole is automatically good for about 20 laps before her first pit.  and while "Django" is a better film, all the gun violence will have those hollywood liberals scared to vote for it so I think Argo is  dark horse.

c'mon caesars, pull the trigger.

You don't want to take on Gibby's and Trammell's team? That was the series I wanted last year, and I want it again this year. How would the people Detroit handle that?

Well, they get 162 chances to avoid failure, and I predict they will fail 100 times in said avoidance. And I predict that my Tigers will fail to avoid failure at least 80 times.

The problem for the White Sox is that the Tigers are a better team this year than they were last year and it's unlikely that the team is going to (regular season) underachieve two years in a row.

It's a triceratops.  They found a huge triceratops skull while digging out the space for Coors Field.  So the mascot is a triceratops with the team's color.

This makes more sense than at least 50% of MLB mascots.  Try explaining the Philly Phanatic.

Huh.  no shiat.  i kinda figured it was due to Colorado in general, being a good place to find dinosaurs. I did not know that one was found at the ballpark.

/kinda on the same note, the Suns' Gorilla is because...."this mischievous mascot was born quite by accident. A messenger for Eastern Onion, a singing telegram service, came to the Coliseum during a home game dressed as a gorilla. As he left, Coliseum security suggested he do a few dances underneath the basket during a timeout and the fans loved it. So did the messenger, who kept coming to games until he was officially invited to be part of the team."

The Philly Phanatic is the embodiment of everything the sports fan wants to be. He's cool, he's suave, he always outsmarts his opponents, and ANY WOMAN will dance under his shirt and wants to be hugged by him. The Phanatic is to us as Snoopy was to Chuck Shultz. He is the demigod at the sports altar and we shall praise him during renditions of baby elephant walk.
