That was pretty cool.

One of my favorite chase scenes involving a RC car is from The Dead Pool.

WTF?
At the end every link to other videos was in Arabic...or something

I think the star of that video is whoever was in charge of the camera work. That was some pretty awesome positioning.

The RC drivers could have been awesome too, but you'd have to see raw footage to determine that.

It was absurd even then, and I watched it in the theater.  There was also the belief that 2 ounces of c4 could destroy a car.

But props to the writers for originality.  In 1998, that was probably the first R/C car chase committed to film, ever.

You mean the part where the Alien bug is shown to be actually the one controlling R/C car?

(oops...sorry...I gave it away)

Very well done. The editing was excellent and the travelling shots were extremely professional. Amazing what the kids can do now with inexpensive equipment (that's was a Canon DSLR isn't it?).

Nice, more entertaining than an episode of NBC's Community

ending was pretty funny.

And the model train enthusiasts feel slightly lower after viewing this.

I still prefer trains.

The end was funny, but if you removed it and didn't show me the fact that they were RC cars at the beginning, and also printed out the road signs from photos as opposed to making them handwritten, that clip could've easily passed as real.

Peter Yates  or  John Frankenheimer  would approve of this. Great editing, great camerawork, great art direction. +1 Subby.

Exactly.

CSB:  We happened to be watching the last episode of Downton Abbey with some friends (please, don't judge me) and whoever filmed that episode used tilt-shift photography in at least a few scenes.  One of our friends made the comment, "nice miniature of the castle".  I had to send him some photos of the castle and some articles about tilt-shift photography.

I'd still like to see a full scale war shot with a tilt shift lens.  It would really give a new perspective.
