No .. no .. There is a reference to people speaking Russian, and it's effects on those who love language that might need to be addressed.

No, Russian sounds like a normal, Eastern European language.  Hungarian, on the other hand, sounds utterly alien.  My paternal grandmother and her 5 sisters were all from Hungary.  When they'd get together, it sounded like Klingons discussing battle strategy.

I took two years of Russian in college.  Spoken properly, it can be a rather beautiful language.

/did not speak it properly

Angry Klingon? That's redundant.

2013-02-22 03:19:01 PM
She didn't even say anything in Russian. That's as bad as news stories about a photo that don't include the photo.

I just love her bilingual tongue.....

....and that polyglot ass, too

All I want to know is if she talks dirty in Russian while doing it.  That's all I ask.

i would like to see a video of mila kunis speaking in russian.

Watched the whole clip and she never spoke any Russian, wtf?

There was a great one of her and Justin Timberlake at a Russian press conference. She made the reporter look like a moron.  She was great, and of course, incredibly sexy the whole time.

Wait, is this a Russians thread or a Mila Kunis thread?

There's a video floating around of her telling off some reporter while doing a press junket in Eastern Europe.  I don't speak the language but have heard that her proficiency is about that of a small child.

2013-02-22 03:34:41 PM
I would relationship her so hard.

Maybe Klingon was designed to be reminiscent of Russian.

That's because most Eastern European languages are Slavic.  Hungarian is so "weird" because it's Uralic (a family completely different from Indo-European) with Finnish and Estonian.

That language is supposed to be related to Basque, Finnish, and Estonian. Those three are nice sounding. Hungarin is weird. Blame paprika.

I am so happy that Mila Kunis is a big star. I think she deserves it.

She took what essentially was a one-note, extremely annoying character on "That 70s Show" and made her totally adorable.

I read that headline as "Russian spanking Mila Kunis...."

Never have I been as disappointed in a thread as this.  :(

She's a mellow person. Too bad her most famous character is someone you want to throw off a bridge.

Who knew out of that crew that she and Kutcher would go the farthest?

It wasn't seeing her speaking it, but she spoke Russian in the Spies Like Us parody on Family Guy. Was in the credits, iirc.

Russian is a Slavic language. It's not related to Finnish, Estonian, or Basque. Hungarian, Finnish and Estonian are related to each other. They are in the Finno-Urgric language family. Basque is a language isolate. It is related to no other living language or known dead language.

I lived in Prague for a year teaching English.  When hot Eastern European women speak their language, it's hot.  When ugly women do it, it sounds like a cow having phlegm issues.   Luckily, eastern european women are the hottest women on the planet, so I got to enjoy the former much moreso than I had to suffer through the latter.

German is much like Russian, in my opinion, in that it can be both a rather harsh sounding language and a ridiculously sexy sounding language. It all comes down to who is doing the speaking.

And now to get the rest of the way back on topic.
