From what I've heard, the package the trucks are running (compared to the other series) may make it one of the more exciting races.

The grill in hole in the middle of the nose makes the Chevies and Fords look incredibly silly compared to those Toyotas.

If you are a fan of racing, old-school nascar, The trucks were the last gasp of that heritage,  a lot of single truck teams, small budgets, guys that still had grease under there finger nails and fun-to-watch drivers ... Then the moneyed multi-truck teams got involved.
It's been a couple of years since I've watched a truck race, but dayum I love races where the guy finishing third is within the length of the first place truck! Or on his roof spinning...
Might have to watch a bit...
For old-times sake.

No access to Speed here. But then again, Danica didn't win the pole for this race...

That site with the row that is in front of the second row is streaming well... using link 2.

Well, seeing as how they are not in the trucks yet.. we've got what .. another 40 minutes?

I tried to find the actual green flag time when I submitted this. It's like a state secret or something.

They used to have it listed easy enough to find on the NASCAR.com site, but... since they totally blew that site to hell and replaced it with something built by geocities and hosted by myspace, you can't find anything.

NASCAR.com used to at least post them once coverage was about to start. New NASCAR.com doesn't seem to even do that. So not only is it ugly, it's less useful than before.

If she is in attendance, take a shot every time she is shown on camera.

If she is racing, take a shot for every lap she completes at least one lap back from the leader.

Schedule liver transplants soon, beat the rush.

Best race I ever saw live was a Richmond truck race, just a few days before 9/11.

Tickets were free from my boss, I hopped in the car after work, headed to Richmond, and watched a hell of a race.

And Jack Sprague (IIRC) did the best burnout ever, since he lit his tires on fire.

Wait, Ward Burton has a son driving?

Ward's son better have his daddy's accent!

You just made me look at my desk and cry a little. The only bottle next to my monitor is hand sanitizer. Everyone in the office has been passing the flu around. Yes, I'm still at work. No, I can't get a feed here. Sunday will see me with a lap top on my coffee table, beer and sammiches a moment away thanks to Mrs Crotchgrabber.

Well, at least you will get to watch the race Sunday.

I'm going to Cleveland to see Emilie Autumn with my friends.. which I have been waiting 10 months for, so I'll be catching it on the torrents.

Pretty much. They've even been doing a 2-3 year long PR assault in preparation of bringing the 3 back to Cup with Austin.

Yeah, but isn't he in the 33? Or is that a yearlong thing and he gets the old #3/29 when Harvick farks off after 2013?

I think this is why Harvick bailed.
