ausfahrk: Didn't witness this, but heard it from my wife and kid: They were at the gym for the kid's swimming lessons, and one of the younger students took a crap in the pool. The staff immediately got everyone out and sent in a Roomba-like vacuum robot to retrieve the turd. We truly live in an age of wonder, my friends.

Tangenital: The water out at my mom's home in rural Oklahoma tasted funny for a while. Later they found a dead Preacher in the water supply./csb//he didn't alter the pressure ala Miss Lam however
DrPainMD: FTA: "Officials said an autopsy on Thursday did not provide a definite cause of death..."Lack of oxygen to the brain. That's pretty much the cause of death for every person who's ever died.
mesmer242: Wasn't this a CSI episode or a Bones episode or a Law&Order episode? I swear I've seen this one.
BitwiseShift: Never drink water myself. Fish function in it.[i228.photobucket.com image 206x263]
screwzloos: Based on the video, I'm going with hallucinogenic drugs. This, friends, is why you always get a trip sitter.I wonder how long she tread water in the cistern before she became exhausted from the cold and drowned? Would anyone have heard her calls for help?/not one of the ways I'd choose to die.
darth_badger: I bet she thought the cistren was a giant Coke can and she fell in while attempting to urinate in it.
aevorea: Here's a link to a surveillance camera's footage that shows Ms. Lam's last known location (well, prior to corpse-watering up the place). It looks as though she is either mentally ill / outta her mind on drugs, or playing drunken hide-and-seek with a companion who's holding down the door-open button.
DontMakeMeComeBackThere: I wonder how the water could be safe to drink - I assume it was treated/filtered between the tank and the taps?Also:mesmer242: Wasn't this a CSI episode or a Bones episode or a Law&Order episode? I swear I've seen this one.Diseased pigeon in a water tank - but it was House, not CSI
Breech Birth: DrPainMD: FTA: "Officials said an autopsy on Thursday did not provide a definite cause of death..."Lack of oxygen to the brain. That's pretty much the cause of death for every person who's ever died. No, I would say it's the stoppage of the heart. You're an MD, you should know better.
The One True TheDavid: Don't people pee and poop when they die?
Four Horsemen of the Domestic Dispute: The One True TheDavid: Don't people pee and poop when they die?I was on a murder trial once and had to view the crime scene photos of a woman that was drowned in her bathtub. I wouldn't call it pee and poop. More like a complete evacuation. Like everything inside of you just relaxed and let loose. The More You Know.
