He's kind of a big deal.

Maybe he'll be Wes Mantooth's younger brother Les Mantooth

So anchorman 2 needs a good looking guy that will be decent the whole movie, then lose the girl/die at the end? Swell.

Evidence:
Cyclops from X-Men
Superman Returns
Enchanted
The Notebook

Can someone remind me why we're doing Anchorman 2?

By the way, he was fantastic in Death at a Funeral, so I have no problem with this

/Death at a Funeral was greatly underrated

If I'm going to watch Death at a Funeral, I'll watch the original British one.

Disagree, but I like him overall.  Probably because he's so damn good looking.

We're never going to shed the "Electric Boogaloo" thing? No? Ok.

This movie is probably a bad idea - kinda like Caddyshack 2 or Ghostbusters 2 - but I still suspect that I will see it anyway. The first movie was an awesome, extremely quotable part of my college experience, much like Chappelle's Show.

Same here. In fact I had to click through to find out who this "Marsden" fairy is.

Who did he play in X-Men? Rogue?

Should have hired Marsters.

Anchor Manner sounds too much like a British soap.

Pretty sure this isn't the first meme I've seen you whine about. Get over it.

Glad I'm not the only one.

I'm always disappointed.

"X-Men's James Marsden"

Ouch, that must have hurt.

I think "30 Rock's James Marsden" would have been the way to go.  He was really funny on that show.

I always confuse James Marsden with Michael Madsen.

/slightly dyslexic.

He only has one look, though. It's always douchy Blue Steel.  I really didn't like him as Cyclops lower jaw.

I just watched Robot & Frank this week, and again he plays everything like annoyed douche.  Good, but sad, movie though!

I swear, there's one of you in every thread. British stuff sucks. That's why The Office lasted only 12 episodes, Monty Python isn't funny, and Downtown Abbey is one of the most boring and pretentious things I've ever seen. The British anything is never as good as the American version.

There was a Farkette on here once complaining about how America stole the idea of The Office from the BBC.
