My cousin got his puppy from a prison program like this. They socialized and did basic obediance and then went back to the rescue where he was adopted.

Aww..nice story. I have heard of these programs. They do dogs and cats and horse in various facilities, and it really seems to help.

While it is possible to ski down the stairs on your shin and calf,I do not recommend it. It hurts. And then you have to sit with ice, and it is too cold out there for that! Brrr!

Thank Ceiling Cat for Caturday!!! We have overachieving crazy people here in Jersey - the full moon isn't until Monday!

Tigerose - stair skiing is never a good idea. At least yours was an accident - my feet are screaming at me right now after 7.77 miles of walking between work and the treadmill today.

Ouch! Glad you weren't severely injured.

Some years ago I hurt my left shoulder when going down the stairs in our apartment. I missed a stair and grabbed the rail to keep from falling. Didn't fall, but my shoulder was sore for a long time.

When I was first learning Telemark skiing, I tried to do it on my butt because I was not used to the technique and kept falling down my butt seems to totally dig skiing. That hurt, but I'm sure not nearly as bad as your skiing adventure. So don't do that again, mmmmkay?

Nope - he's scared of the noise. He used to come and investigate the treadmill after I was done, but now he's used to it, he just goes to another room.

Greetings, family !!   Caturday is here!   Have been working on one of the computers.. a 'friend' was telling me about a new video editing program he found.. sent me the link.. downloaded it, scanned for viruses.. clean..  installed it and tried it out.. wouldn't do anything, so I uninstalled it, and it took part of the operating system with it... nuthin but bluescreen.. I called him up.. he knew it would do that.. thought it was real funny.. I made a quiet trip to his house and 'modified' his heat pump.. the backup heat now runs with the compressor, just by moving one wire in the outdoor unit.. I will see how he laughs when he gets his next power bill.....and unknown to him, I clone my 'C' drives on all of my systems.. they run on the cloned drive, the 'master' drive is stored... took 20 minutes to swap drives and update.. good to go ! will re-clone this weekend and stash the master drive again... all I have to do now is to transfer some files off of the messed up drive and wipe it..
Never tried to ski down stairs.. hope the bruises go away soon :o)  I do remember that, as a kid, I made many trips down the stairs on a mattress out of the crib in the closet.. those particular stairs had two turns.. if you pulled up on one side of the mattress, you could 'bank' around the turns.. you pulled up on the front at the bottom of the stairs to cushion the impact with the wall... I remember Mom being curious as to why the stairs always seemed so shiney....you get all four kids on that thing and it would almost fly !   ahhhh.... good times..
Hope we have a gentle weekend.. lots of glads, no sads..  tomorrow should be exciting.. supposed to get freezing rain and sleet... car skiing is not good, except when you realize that your passenger has to go change clothes...   need to feed the crew...bbl...

Bathia_Mapes: OlderGuy: Greetings, family !!

With "friends" like that, who needs enemies? Not to mention that payback is indeed a biatch.

He,s not 'graced' with mechanical abilities.. will probably have to call in a tech to figure it out.... if I didn't do the clone thing, it would have been a full re-install.... many hours involved... plus all of the updates ! I have saved the files on an external drive.. just in case there are 'remnants' left .. and did that on a offline machine with autorun disabled... have decided to let my 'programming guru' do a post mortem on the drive.. maybe he can figure out what happened...

Oddly enough, "surfing" down stairs is a commonly recurring element in my dreams.
Another recurring element is like from one of the "Back To the Future" movies where it's like I'm
riding a hoverboard,, but without the hoverboard. Just get up to speed and lift my feet, and I'm off!

I've often wondered what significance they portray.

Agreed. However - a few years ago, I was suffering from a serious (very painful) case of sciatica, and nothing my doctor recommended helped (yeah, right doc, I'm gonna do these weird exercises when I can barely stand up without screaming in pain) ... and then I fell (skied) down the basement stairs. Which produced colors on my ass that have never been seen before in a rainbow, but it actually cured the problem.

Taking 2 of the furkids into the vet this weekend. Mr. Titus Pullo is just getting his boosters. Nornally I do them at home but since he has to have his rabies, might as well get everything done in office. Also taking Rocky in, she needs her rabies and I think she has a goiter. Rather large lump on her neck but it doesn't hurt her or keep her from eating. It just drives me nuts though because it feels like a sebaceous cyst and I just want to pop it!

Well, I told you folks that we were going car-shopping on Tuesday. Went to our bank. They wouldn't do a thing for us til we came back with a vehicle we had picked out. I told them I wasn't thrilled about spending all day kicking tires and then getting turned down for a loan. So we left and went to a local Toyota dealership. Cut to the chase---we ended up driving away with a 2013 Toyota Corolla w/0% financing. We got a modest break because I work for a Toyota supplier and also saved some $$ by choosing a 5 speed manual in lieu of an automatic transmission.

First NEW car I bought since 1988.

I have heard of several cases just like that!  A Chiropractor friend of mine had a sweet little old lady patient who was still having sciatic pain after several treatments.  She was bending over to clean the bath tub, she kind of did a somersault into the tub and voila!  No more pain!

Excellent choice; one of the best cars out there.  I almost got one a few years back, but picked up a tC instead.  I didn't need four doors and love hatches.  Coming up on 110k and I've only had to replace the battery, wiper blades and tires.  The clutch and gearbox are fine, too.  It won't let you down.

Back to the important stuff!

Here's Birdie getting comfy:

And Vince in the sink:

This has become a minor problem.  Vince gets into the sink whenever I'm on the can and won't get out.  (No, I am not going to turn on the water.)  So I have to go to the kitchen to wash up.

Caturday farkers:
I bought ties for my cats off Etsy.  Neither one was happy about it, but this helped the  Fredericton SPCA, which is in Canada.  Due to some confusion about shipping times, I started a whole brouhaha with them because it took a long time to ship, but I was being an idiot and we got it all worked out, and they were more than understanding about it.  It just takes six weeks to get the ties if you're in the US.  I think they are made or assembled by hand.
Anyway, the most unhappy cat (the Dell Monitor came the same day):

And the "wouldn't wake up" cat:

img62.imageshack.us

In her defense, she's 15 years old.  She doesn't wake up for much.
I don't mean for this to be a plug for any SPCA, I just feel bad for initially leaving negative feedback for them on Etsy.  They were solid all the way and calmed me down after I didn't receive my order in two weeks.  I think the negative feedback review was removed because Espy has a "kiss and make up" offer, which I took.
Anyhoo, HAPPY CATURDAY!

Sciatica IS a whole lot of not-at-all fun...

Wasn't an accident but accupuncture that got rid of mine.  Hurt almost as much as a mosquito bite.
Five treatments and TA DA!
Pain free.

The chiro doing the procedure told me that it would probably take about that many treatments before I noticed anything...
and if I had no relief after 10 treatments we'd try something else.
I can recommend it, is what I'm on about.

Accident may be quicker (one session of fall-down-go-boom and you're cured!), but by the very nature of the process there's not a whole lot of control over what, where, when and/or any collateral damage occurring in the process.
Not only is success not guaranteed...you may end up dealing with the law of 'unexpected consequences'.

I should not try to practice dry humor at 5AM...

Anyhoo, HAPPY CATURDAY!

/thanks modmin, didn't realize the mistake until it was posted.
//really appreciate it.

Good Morning!!  Happy Caturday!  Love the kitty ties.....very cute! :D

Good meowning everybuddy! I must tell you about my adventure last night!

Weird story sis time. I was making some treats to mail to a friend's brother who is stationed in Afghanistan. I had dug an old hot air popper out of Narnia (what we call the storage area that has the door inside my sister's closet) and got about half what I needed to cushion the cookies - and it died. It was a spectacular death, with smoke and smelliness. I yell and yank the plug out, my Mother overreacts and yells "WHAT HAPPENED?!?" which brought Gran, my Sis and my son all coming out to see if I fell out again. I tell her the hot air popper was obviously Buddhist because it self immolated rather than support any troops in a war effort. That's the second one that's died on me in just a few months.

To make a long story a bit shorter, I ended up going door to door in my neighborhood to try and borrow one, which led to me going through the woods to a teenage neighbor's friend's house to borrow one, they then just popped the popcorn for me while I had an awkward conversation with neighbor and his friend about whether friend's girlfriend was "cheating". I ended up standing in the Rite Aid, holding a garbage bag full of popcorn, wearing a pair of pajama bottoms with skulls all over them and my black and fuscia "cooking diva" apron while buying OTC medication for yeast infections, as that's what the young 'un got from his girlfriend and he was too embarrassed to buy it himself.

I wonder if the Rite Aid will give me a copy of the security footage, because that had to be a sight to see.

I hope everyone has a good day and we get lots of happy news and cute critter pics. Cretinbob, I love the little black kittens! I totally want to cuddle each and every one of them. D'awwww!

Some of you have interesting ways of healing sciatica, btw. That is painful, but mine went away all on its own, no flinging myself down stairs or pulling a Mary Lou Retton into a bathtub required.

Good morning folks, I'm on my way out to the farm, they are delivering my bathtub today. I worked out there late last night and before I left I went to the garage to feed the kitties. Oma Cassie and Flower were waiting for the gooshy food. Forrest was COMING BACK IN from the rafters! I don't know if she got out or was just sitting up on the top sill plate.

I may have inherited two kitties, I have seen them several times. A white one with reddish ears keeps hanging around the garage and a grey one with white feet is under the house.

My friends in Al shared a picture of their dog Sampson with their new baby goat Lazarus. Sampson was Fiona's best friend, she would get her toys and chew bones and give them to him to play with while he visited. This dog is a lab mix like Fiona but he topped 100LB before he was a year old. While Fiona has some pit bull in her, I think Sampson has some bull mastiff.  His is just a big baby.

Second, sorry I forgot to console tigerose for placement in DownStairsSkiingEvent. Because minor injury ensued, she only gets Red for 2d Place.  Purple, while good colour to wear with injury today, may be a support ribbon but isn't an award colour that mefinds.  yobbery gets blue furrst (not fetching tho copied one of those before realised needed 2d) for having been able to Do That successfully in past, as shown.

Not one of my Aunties, but sure reminds me of one of them. She's also an elderly feeder/trainer of wayward kittehs and can often be spotted sitting on an old wooden stool handing out treats. She even taught a semi-feral cat that won't let anyone else near it to roll over then sit up for its treat. Now that is patience!

John Buck 41: shanrick: John Buck 41: Well, I told you folks that we were going car-shopping on Tuesday.

Stock photo of Nautical Blue 2013 Corolla

[content.homenetiol.com image 640x423]

Very nice. You'll get better gas mileage with a manual plus less of a chance of some one stealing it cause most people nowadays can't drive a stick!

I've heard that with the advances in automatic transformer technology your 1st point might not apply, but your 2nd point definitely does!

So, I was totally going to put up an image and make a witty joke about what "automatic transformer technology" might look like, but I did an image search from Mordor for "transformer" and am now too busy looking for eye bleach to make any joke. Safe search needs to be enabled on my new Mordor machine. GAH!!!!

laulaja many thanks for the Red Ribbon. It will go nicely with my Black and Blue. I can't tell you where the largest darkest bruise is..all I will say is baboon. And my big toe is quite unhappy today to be confined to a shoe..because of course, I had to work.

Ever take a fall, and later think.."What happened?" Honestly it felt like someone yanked my feet out from under me and pulled me down the stairs.

Eli played Dr. NotSoTiny Cat and laid upon my legs all night long. Even when I was sitting up reading, which he never does. And, he was careful where he walked this morning, so he didn't hit any major bruises. How did he know?

It has been snowing off and on most of the day, not real heavy , just light and fluffy. Jack has been loving it, running all over the backyard and diving into the snow and acting like the puppy he was at one time.Gremie has been sitting on the bureau in the bedroom looking out at Jack as he runs thru the snow.
I always know when Jack is heading back to the house because Gremie jumps to the floor "thud""ow" and runs thru the house at high speed heading for the backdoor , yelling "Hurry up the dog wants in" or something like it in catspeak. Gremie runs into the kitchen and hits the backdoor hanging to the window by his toenails. Jack is usually scratch at the door about then.
I have to convince Gremie that he has to let go of the door to let "his dog" in. Once Jack gets back in the house he gets a lecture from Gremie about the evils of snow and he has to put up with Gremie cleaning him up while I wipe him down.
This is a scene that is constantly repeated in my house during the winter and it never fails to make me laugh.

So I didn't see the usual hairdresser last night, I ended up with this sweet middle-aged lady I'd never seen before.  When I told her how much hair I wanted to cut off, she gasped, and I thought she was going to cry!  Long story short, I had about 2 or 3 inches trimmed off instead of 11 or 12.  :)  At least it looks much neater now.  I'll try again somewhere else in a month or two before the warm weather kicks in.  *Sigh*

Hi guys! I can't believe the week is finally over!!!!

i211.photobucket.com

I'll be off to catch up where I left off, but I wanted to share this first.
I had my performance review today. It turned out to be a great review...waaaaay better than I thought it would go. However, the comment our CIO made on the very first evaluation item had me thinking it might not be going well.

I have pasted an excerpt below. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

"Yobbery has taken ownership for the wireless project at Mordor.  He is directing his staff appropriately to ensure that tasks are completed appropriately.  Yobbery shares his expertise and has proven to be an asses to the wireless team as well as Mordor."

John Buck 41: Well, I told you folks that we were going car-shopping on Tuesday.

Very nice. You'll get better gas mileage with a manual plus less of a chance of some one stealing it cause most people nowadays can't drive a stick!

I've heard that with the advances in automatic transformer technology your 1st point might not apply, but your 2nd point definitely does!

IMHO, CVT (shiftless) is the way to go for gas mileage. It just seems like an all around better performer. If you're light on the pedal you can cruise around and keep the rpms really low, and when you want quick pickup you get it immediately from any speed.

Some people really dislike them though...It doesn't behave like a regular automatic and you need to get past the initial feeling that the transmission is slipping.

gremlin1: It has been snowing off and on most of the day, not real heavy , just light and fluffy.

I have thought about donating my hair in the past, but was told it needs to be very healthy and never permed or coloured.  I've always had a problem with split ends and dry hair, and used to colour it quite often.  My current batch of hair hasn't been coloured at all but there are certainly a few grays sneaking in there, and plenty of split ends.  I've thought about trying to make something out of my hair myself (sew it inside the brim of a hat or something) then personally donating it to someone who needs hair enough that they don't care it isn't grade A hair, but just haven't had the energy.  Probably don't have the sewing skills either.  That may change.  You never know.  :op

LOL!  Or gets caught in the car door, or zipped in your jacket, or tucked into your pants, or the dog has to poop out a whole "necklace" because he swallowed one of your hairs and it won't break off....  :op

I'm generally a procrastinator about most things, plus not a lot of money to throw around, so I usually just get a haircut when it becomes intolerable.

True. My doc said he had seen it happen before, something about how a sudden motion/movement/fall will realign the sciatic nerve, but he rarely saw it without other injuries being inflicted as a result. Truthfully, I'm lucky that I did not break something after going down that long flight of wooden stairs and landing on a slate floor.

Yep, the Rogue has a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). It's hard to describe, but if you pay attention it's not really shifting, but smoothly choosing from a theoretically infinite number of gear ratios based on engine power and the position of the gas pedal. A conventional transmission is very similar but has a fixed number of gear ratios (most commonly 4 or 5.)

I guess it's easiest to think of it as a conventional transmission with a whole bunch of gear ratios.

Found the tale!  It may have been subbied & failed, tho not sure I see how it woulda  failed.
Caffrey, Amazing 2legged Cat, seen by me as lead tale/tail in LoveMeow #160
Feb 10, 2013 from DailyMail
Caffrey a black Persian cat is very special. He is only left with two legs both on the right side. The 13 year old strong-willed cat is able to walk and live a normal life despite having only two legs.
When he was three years old, he lost his left hind leg in a car accident. "After £3,500 worth of operations, he battled on with his life," reported
For the next 10 years, Caffrey lived with three legs so well that he never felt any different. Then one day, they discovered a malignant growth on his left front leg. "His owner Sue Greaves, 58, couldn't bear to have him put down or put him through the pain of chemotherapy with no guarantee of success," so they had the leg amputated with another £4,000 operation.
"When her vet sought opinions from four colleagues, all said it shouldn't be done. They insisted he would be unable to walk and his life would not be worth living." But Caffrey amazed them all when he started running around, bounding about in their garden. He defied what others thought about him and managed to lead a normal life despite having no left-side legs.He walks on two legs on the same side
438 comments to date on Daily Mail where this came up.

(with ty 2 all who've commented - this thread will end the tale)

"you don't live here" part 9 (continued from 2/16)

The day of the vet visit started with cleared skies and reality - I was going to have to pick up the silent green-eyed girl who was wound up tighter than a new spool of thread.I collected the band-aids, the Neosporin, donned long pants, a heavy shirt - wished like mad for some rattan body armor - opened the door to the big carrier.

Picked her up - she stiffened, froze - and - poof, in she was. The kittehs three thought this was a delightful new game and we were off, in the car. I'd been a smart-mouth the day the appointment was set and hoped the receptionist wouldn't recall. One look at the grey kitteh and she said "Oh - the possum - my goodness - how odd"she laughed. "I don't suppose you want to give her a home?" "Nope - she's cute though"

I'd asked that question approximately 57 times and now, waiting for the new and improved custom kitteh work to be finished, decided to appeal to the FARK "Caturday" crowd:

"Home needed for American shorthaired cats. This year's model, standard 4 on the floor, excellent high-speed nose-to-tail circling radius. Limited color options available, new body work, low mileage - really purrs"

We waited for the Vet to call that mom-cat and her three babes were out of surgery, spayed, neutered, de-flea'd and "shotted" and I warned my son they would all likely be groggy.

I was wrong - they were stoned to the gills. All four of them, in the living room, listing like glassy-eyed sailors on a weekend pass.We began to giggle - then my son deadpanned, with a vanna white hand flourish "This is your cat on drugs" and I grew short of breath and teary-eyed. Maybe it was partly relief - they were all fine, no more "surprises" and no injuries.

After 24 hours I turned momma lose first with a "Tiny mother, if I never see you again, its okay." She was back in three hours, stepping inside and right to the bowls. They all followed her - time to admit we'd been claimed.

2013-02-22 08:19:57 PM
You don't live here, final chapter

So, we went from no cat and sore hearts to four cats and some outrageous behavior.

Fuzzle grew into 11 pounds of muscle with a falsetto "meh" or, if urgent "meh-eh" - he is a handsome fellow, a chocolate tiramisu with swirls of hazelnut creme. He favors tree climbing, drinking out of the fish pond and ambushing his siblings. His delta pledge name is "Moose"

Buddy aka "You Nert" is a standard gray-brown striped kitteh who has two talents - opening doors - all of them - and talking. His motto is "whatever you are doing, I must also be in the way" Best trick, ever, opening every kitchen cupboard door while trilling "what is this?" questions to himself.

Miss Mouse is now silver-grey and peach with half a white face and eyes the color ofmartini olives. A petite, reserved peacemaker, any raised voice brings her "Dr tiny-cat, stat" to cry plaintively "what is wrong?" while pawing ever higher. You try complaining about traffic, or that client - with a cat nose in your ear - can't be done.

And, last - Momma cat. She spends her days patrolling the yard on dime-sized paws, chasing Big Red away (to his eternal confusion) and her nights in the house - no longer ragged and endlessly licking at hot spots. She sometimes plays with total abandon.

They often pile together somewhere - Fuzzle, out cold; Buddy, "Hi! Where ya going? Need a door opened?" watchful Miss Mouse, usually with a felt toy nearby - and their still silent momma.

"don't get too comfortable" I say now and then. She gives a slow emerald blink - "I've brought three healthy kittens, a baker's dozen lizards and a ring snake - I will break your heart. Right now I am sleeping on your laundry - I win."

With thanks - and laughs - for everyone who has been claimed....keep on posting, pretty please

Oh dear...that poor cat!!!  Looks to be in pain (or maybe just embarrassment)!

parasol: You don't live here, final chapter

Bravo! Thank you!

Vet is stumped (joined the crowd) steroids and pain management later, we have a cat that is total care. I'm not having a good day. How are ya'll?

yobbery- Congrats on being an asses...although you didn't specify asses what.
Glad you got a glowing review...don't those make you feel just a tad better about having to go to Mordor?

Happy GOTCHA! day to salem witch and Suzy...may you have many more years of making skwerls learn very-fast-tree-climbing!

parasol...thank you for the enchanting series "You don't live here..."
Nice things turned out happy for everyone...what a wonderful crew!

Gotta pack up the kit (and kitty) bag and head off for Mordor meself.
Meant to actually ACCOMPLISH something today...then Riktor and Wimsey double-teamed me while I was reading and I was OUT...ZZZZzzzzzzzz....

Glad that the boys get along so nicely (i.e., sharing a lap, 'working' together) but geez, fellas!
S'pose I'm lucky that I never have more than 3 pile on...if they all ganged up on me I'd probably never wake up at all!

Hi!
good questions posed by you fine folk. As far as the vet is concerned, his age (~2) and he does have a heart murmer, but the vet was adamant he hasn't thrown a clot (DVT). He is not anemic and does not have fleas. We aggressively treat all for that including mr. micromedic ; ) My only true concern is that while the vet has ruled out DVT, the affected back limbs are cold. Worrisome worrisome worrisome.... and I tried calling off of work, but my boss is a raging, flaming a$$hole. : ( pinched nerve at this point would be a blessing.. : )

lethological_lassie: John Buck 41: shanrick: John Buck 41: Well, I told you folks that we were going car-shopping on Tuesday.

GAH!!!!

Well, someone didn't let me down. I knew 'transformer' would bring out a comment like this (though it wasn't my intent; I just didn't feel like typing out the whole word)

Pinched nerve? Possibly a stroke? Is he continent? - which might indicate if he is paralyzed or has other issues. I have no experience with this type of issue, so that's as far as my thinking takes me. Best of luck (and paws crossed) that CJ gets better soon! Uhm... gotz a real problem.... CJ (Clarence junior) mr. micromedics' recent rescue, can't use his back legs. At all. So something happened between the hours of 12 noon and 3pm that he has lost all use of his back legs. Went to the Vet.... x-ray looks good. Vet is stumped (joined the crowd) steroids and pain management later, we have a cat that is total care. I'm not having a good day. How are ya'll?

Out of curiosity, has it affected anything else?  Maybe he fell?  You might want to check with my vet.. Dr. Kida, Chesterfield Meadows Vet Clinic.. she,s the best I have ever found... please give her a call.. or EIP and I can give you the information.. second opinions never hurt....

spinach gunk: So I didn't see the usual hairdresser last night, I ended up with this sweet middle-aged lady I'd never seen before. *Sigh*

micromedic: Hi!
good questions posed by you fine folk. : )
Thank you ALL!! I'm a wreck....

Hang in there. Hope it all works out for you and your furkid.

Oh no!  Poor CJ.  Hopefully it's something deceptively minor and he can return to bathroom monitor duty asap.

Something similar happened to my SIL's daschund a few months ago -- he woke up from a nap after an intense play session, and couldn't get out of bed, suddenly couldn't move his back end at all.  Rushed him to the vet.  Same thing as CJ, all x-rays etc clear, no idea about anything.  Well after about 2 days at the vet's, he could move his legs a little, and gradually over about a week, with a little physio and a lot of rest, he regained all of his bodily functions and was able to walk unassisted again, and went home!  He's fine now.  Vet's best guess was maybe he bruised his spine and the tissues swelled up while he was sleeping to the point that it affected his spinal cord.

Hope little CJ will be OK.  Warm fuzzy get well wishes to him.  He's lucky to have such great humans to love him and take care of him.  :)

micromedic sorry to hear about CJ. I hope he is better today. When my first cat threw a clot, I used to massage his back legs and it reduced the swelling. He did walk again. And he was young. In the two yr old range. ((hugs))

That would definitely freak me out as well. As far as sleeping, I would probably have fixed a pot of tea and turned on the tv because sleep would be out of the question.
It does remind me of the time my family went to Florida to visit my cousins. My mother looked out the window and saw a lizard running up the screen and she freaked of course me being a child thought it was pretty neat. If my mother had spotted a snake at the window or anywhere she would have had Dad packing up the car and heading for home before she got done screaming.

We got a new kitty. His name is Raven. We adopted him (yay, shelter kitties!) the day after the Ravens won the Super Bowl. Hubby (non-kitty person that he is) said this was The One. And when they said that he was born 6-8 month ago, Hubby figured out to the exact date that dear Raven was born on the first day of Ravens training camp. So here he is, and he is TOTALLY Hubby's kitty. I have a sweet picture of Raven on Hubby's shoulder on the way to the vet, but Hubby is not a fan of showing his face on random interwebz pages.

Another recurring element is like from one of the "Back To the Future" movies where it's like I'm

I've often wondered what significance they portray.

Good morning folks,
I made scones with strawberry jam for breakfast, so good with coffee.
I found my girl kitties have been running in and out of the garage any time they want. Clever girls discovered that by climbing up the walls they can get out between the top plate and the rafters. They have been hanging out on the roof and I am sure they can get to the ground by going down one of the over hanging trees.
I had to move the baby chickens outside, much to my sons dismay. He had been taking the little black one out and making it ride an rc truck, letting it run around on the floor, and having it sit on his arm. I think he wants to train it like a pirate parrot.
Here is Jeep sitting on his arm.
