JohnnyApocalypse: It's that time of the... well, whatever time it is... to yell at clouds and getting off my lawn.

While I appreciate that the youngsters, boys and girls alike, have embraced their cartoon and video game loving ids, and fully display them to all of us incessantly on the boards... AND GOD BLESS THEM FOR IT IS THEIR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT TO DO SO... I don't much care for them.

Feel free to like ponies and bronies and anime and furry-wearing "hotties" and video games made for the Japanese kids (melodrama much?), but being surprised that some of us don't know the reference because we aren't into that... that's like me bringing up specific Mexican-American lit stories in a thread to prove a point that the American Dream isn't any one dream at all, and then being surprised when the average kid has never heard of that story let alone its author.

So shove off, brony lover. In my day, we didn't get our stories by pressing X button incessantly until the one line dialogue strips were complete, we got it from our dungeon master in a thousand myriad accents while chugging down the Dew.

That's a LOT of anger in that post. I think it might be a good idea to lay off the "Dew" before you die in your old, shouting at lawnpeople age of a coronary.

It makes you angry that you can no longer torture your friends from behind the relative safety of a 12x8 cardboard paper screen, doesn't it?

I wish you would. The references and language we wield in our social circles and the media we intake influences our tangential learning. I was not raised anywhere near Mexican-American literature, but all it took for me to go find and read the Iliad as a seven year old was a reference to it in a cartoon show called Ulysses 31 (or something like that).

Reference wide and reference fine. We live in the internet age. If you say something the other guy doesn't understand, on the internet, it's his farking fault for not googling it.

DS1970: You mean like how Obama engineered the Sandy Hook attack to distract the American people from the fiscal-cliff?

All of the bullet holes were parallel trajectory, no single shooter can do that! It wasn't one kid with a military-style gun... it was one patsy and Seal Team Six Ninjas!  Just like when he sent them in to kill Osama to spite Trump.

Yes, yes, it was a missile. Just like that one launched by a Soviet sub off the U.S. west coast awhile back. And the "plane" that hit the Pentagon. Everything is a missile. Except the moon rocket; that's special effects.

Could someone please start a political party based on debunking conspiracy theories? I'd vote the straight ticket for the Occam's Razor party.

/Oswald acted alone. 9/11 was an outside job, and nobody in the Bush administration had actual prior knowledge of when/where the attack would occur. The moon landing is real, and there are/were no aliens at Roswell. No strangers put razor blades in Halloween treats,  Gods are something humans make up as an excuse to act altruistically, because humans are by nature good. The Jews had no organized vendetta against Nixon (most of them hated his guts, but for good reason). Bigfoot and crop circles are hoaxes. So are "paranormal investigations." Your friend is not psychic. Neither are you. Diebold does not steal elections. Neither do illegal immigrants voting under false names.

Has this dumbass never looked at the moon through a pair of binoculars?

So the moon is falling? When was the last time you saw a hit on the moon?

I do watch the bigger feet show sometimes. They seem to be on the channels dime for vacations spots. South Carolina, Florida. Not exactly bf country. I think they hit Maryland. The last one I saw was Colorado. I tune in just to see where they are then bail. Eventually they will make it to the pacific northwest.

Then bf will leap out and say ooga booga and they will shiat their britches while running south.

Dammit, why does nobody use spoiler tags anymore?  If you're going to reveal upcoming monologues from The Newsroom, at least warn us first.

KrispyKritter: IMHO people should lighten up on those whose opinions and theories differ from their own. nothing wrong with thinking outside the box, being creative and imaginative, or considering alternative possibilities. people who just accept everything the mainstream feeds them might be the fools. i feel creative genius is the most important kind of genius. awful lot of science is just theory, not fact. yet people parrot what they read or are told as if they were there. mankind is a truly arrogant lot.

It's important to have an open mind, but not so open that people throw rubbish into it.

Yeah, well according to your profile, you're a Nazi.

Go back to your farfegnugen and schnitzel, Hans.

That's the mama's boy bad guy from Final Fantasy 7 who spends most of the game running away. He also has the biggest hair and the longest sword, and he's all dark and brooding and shiat.

I hear he's a real ladykiller too. Definitely overrated.

Now, now. For some of us (including me), FF stands for Fantastic Four. That doesn't make Final Fantasy "crap." Just, you know, not mainstream. And, okay, kinda bishi on top of that. But not crap.

/To be fair, real FF is exactly mainstream, either, in spite of predating Final Fantasy by 25 years or so.

Very disappointed in you, Brony.  Reading comprehension fail?  Is that caused by Final Fantasy?

According to my profile, I'm Einstein, who was definitely not a nazi.
