The video of Sherman in New Orleans shows he has a good sense of humor about himself.

Revis wants a new contract. Again.

It's almost as if a guy who is also working on his Masters degree and doesn't need the NFL to provide him a lifestyle really isn't going to give a flying fark.

The only reason the average NFL fan even knows Sherman's name is because of his mouth.  That says it all.

Dude should build some history before running his yapper.

I find this mildly amusing, but I don't see the value in it. Does a "Twitter feud" increase the stock of a player? Will this somehow help their team or themselves? Please consider this a real question and feel free to answer.

Maybe if Sherman shut down Roddy White on that 47-yard TD the Seahawks might have beat the Falcons.

LIke all pro in his first full season starting?  Stats that compare favorable to Revis's best year (again, as a second year player).

I'm a huge Seahawks fan and I wish he would tone it down some.  But he backs it up with his play on the field.  He plays in south alaska so he has to develop his own media attention. Just the way it is.

Unless you are Russel Wilson, then everybody loves you.

Why do you want him to tone it down as long as he plays well?  The NFL is in the business of entertaining, and Sherman is doing his part.

It just seems to me like he goes to far.  He is a Stanford educated man.  I'm sure he is very smart so I'm not really worried about him doing or saying something the would really reflect poorly on him or the organization.  He does how ever like to call players out which I'm not a big fan of.

He's the kind of guy you like if he is on your team or hate if you is not.

I'm a Cards fan and think Sherman is awesome. He is like Dockett+eleventy with his antics, and that makes him. Everything I come across that he does makes me a bigger fan.

I'll just say this; yeah, he can be annoying sometimes, but it's clear as day to anyone with an IQ over 40 he's not a malicious person, but is chirping simply for the sake of his own amusement and for the fans. There are sh*t talkers in sports who come across as honest-to-God dickweeds in real life, and then there's people like Sherm.

If you actively dislike him for reasons unrelated to being a Seahawk if you're, say, a fan of a division rival, then congrats; you take sports way too seriously and need to take up some new hobbies.

Hawks fan as well.
I wish he was a little less vocal.  I don't like giving the other team motivational material.
The man is pretty damn good though and he does back it up.
BTW..Roddy White catches were really Cam Chancellor mistakes.  Teams exposed  his pass coverage weaknesses.

That's never true.  It's the same thing as people who freak out about power rankings threads, if you think it isn't funny, then move on, don't tell me in excruciating detail how not funny you find it, unless of course, you do it in an entertaining manner.

Who doesn't like Fark's best recurring thread? I mean, I get the hate for the QBs on Facebook thing, because it's just played out, but honestly, the PR threads are the result of a lot of work by a lot of people. They impress me quite a bit. The clapping was a Sherman trait from several other games.  The White TD was one where he was anticipating Chancellor to come up and assist, but the Falcons drew up a good play that pulled Chancellor up to Gonzalez (his first priority throughout the game).  Sherman missed a beat and lost sight of White.  It happens to even the best, and you'll note that White didn't do much else during the game.

The last clapping, I think was when Crabtree caught a pass after being shut down all day.  Crabtree was already down by sixty gazillion points and got up like he had accomplished something amazing.  Sherman just laughed and did his golf clap, which struck me as completely on target.

RE: The White TD -  Sherman mentioned in an interview (the same one where they revisited the SB street walk gag) that it was a matter of blown coverage, and insinuated that it wasn't blown by him.  He did say that it happens to the best of people, but he still distanced himself from being directly responsible.

The power ranking threads have been a highlight of my football season since they started, or at least since I noticed them. I wish I contributed something to them other than suggesting comical images for Di to use in her SOV chart.

Great defenses and good offenses. I would say great offenses but a certain franchise-qb less team is messing with the averages;)

Yeah we suck on that part. Honestly, the O-line may have been terrible at the beginning of the season, but the two tackles actually got a HELL of a lot better, I think they were being graded positively by most metrics at that point. The QBs just suck though. Give Kolb a pay-cut, keep Hoyer and the rest be damned. However. I don't really watch enough of the college game to know if there's someone in the 2nd or 3rd round (a la Kaepernick/Wilson) that would give the team much to hope for.

5th round pick voted All-Pro in his 2nd season?  I'd say you need to pay more attention to football players in general, unless you're butthurt because your 4-12 team won't be relevant for another 3-4 years.

I think I'd be bugged more about Sherman's chatter if I hadn't watched his Super Bowl "man on the street" video.  He had no problem having a little fun occasionally at his own expense, and seemed like the kind of guy that can take it as well as he dishes it out.

Yeah, if you watch the postgame video against the Skins just before he gets pushed in the face by Williams, you can see/hear Sherman complimenting another Redskin for working hard and playing a good game.  This was the same Skin who very publicly said that Sherman was a cheater.  Sherman certainly talks a lot, but I think most of it is that he approaches the game with a sense of respect mixed with a healthy dose of fun.

It has been only 1 season for Sherman, where he was busted for PEDs* (and don't give me the "he won the appeal" crap, he got off on a technicality like Braun did). Revis has done it for a lot longer.
