He's an old guy from Arizona. Maybe the #1 old guy from Arizona. I'm not old, Arizonian, or the #1 guy. I'm not really surprised that I don't understand him. Different strokes for different strokes, I reckon. This country sure will be better when all the old people die, and there aren't any old people, and everyone is 28 years old and Liberal, except for the 35-year-old President (who will be actually only 32 and an illegal Kenyan who smokes cigarettes) and 3 of the gals on the Supreme Court will be anti-choice because they got pregnant in high school and had it "taken care of" but later they got married ans found out their uterus didn't work anymore so they turned power-hungry and bitter and resentful and now they project their negativity by trolling through rulings

McCain seems to have gone way past his proverbial sell-by date. The dude has lost his mind and is becoming another RON PAUL.

I respect the man and am humbled by the sacrifices he made and overcame, but he, unlike Chuck Hagel, has forgotten the pragmatism that comes with having served under fire. McCain has put petty partisan politics far ahead of the good of the country and should be disgusted with himself for screwing around with the nomination of the most qualified SoD candidate we've ever had. If he and his GOP ilk were in congress in 1941, the government would have been paralyzed after Pearl Harbor because they would have insisted on "full disclosure" on the intel failure instead of voting to go to war with Japan.

Did you honestly just say Hagel is the most qualified SECDEF nominee EVAR?

You do realize that George C. Marshall was SECDEF, don't you?
