Licking it is fine. Just don't try making a pair and motorboating them. That's gross.

The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why I didn't get more meat, I'll just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where I've hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

This. Although I get paid like a professional and often act like anything but that. So maybe that isn't a good point.

They should probably just have a half hour class on don't put shiat online morans at these places. With all the examples.

These stories annoy the crap out of me because they never say how they found that individual. Im assuming the dummy who took it used a phone or other gps enabled device and left the gps info on the file when he posted it? Don't most sites scramble that now? If not is the gps info on a pic something a lay person can get to relatively easily?

Depends on what it was taken with, how it was compressed, and how it was uploaded.

The rule is, never, ever post any pictures of you at your workplace, or make any comments about it on Facebook, twitter or what have you. It will come back to bite you in the ass.  Even if you restrict page views of your questionable or opinionated stuff to your "trusted friends" (riiight) they could just as easily re-post in a more accessible place if you fall out of favor with them.

Remember, it's not just your jackass social group that looks at that stuff on the web. The "suits and ties" in their spare time will troll through looking for stuff. Also, there are lots of jerks that will call attention to these things to their technologically clueless bosses just because.

In today's economy, those that run these fast-food joints will look for any excuse to fire someone, because they can always re-hire someone for less pay. As far as the company (and their shareholders) are concerned, that nickel an hour difference between a rookie and a "trained" employee is worth saving.

And never mention anything at work that isn't directly related to work. And don't look around. And don't smile. And the only direction on your moral and social compass should be "is this good for the company" Anyone who doesn't understand this a complete moron who deserves any punishment that can be imagined.

Words of wisdom. Need to be shared with the youth of the nation on a regular basis. Speaking with my youthful (20's something) nephews and nieces I'm told the young people of today are too often clueless of how their actions can and will have consequences. Which is odd, as most children used to come to that realization in elementary school.

Is there anything more obscene than the Double Down? Any company that produces that should not be able to tell me how I can mold my mashed potatoes or what I can stick in said mash.

I don't eat KFC (too much MSG. It makes me ill.) but the Double Down hate doesn't make sense to me. I mean, it's basically the fast food version of a Chicken Cordon Bleu, except they use bacon instead of ham, and they use chicken patties instead of a formed chicken shell.

And I love cordon bleu. It's good eating when it's done right. Whether or not the KFC version is acceptable-tasting, I don't know, but structurally it's the same thing with cheaper ingredients.

It looked like a kid in the photo.
So what, he's a kid.
Kids do stupid stuff.
It was determined that it was after hours and the tatos weren't served to anyone.
Lecture everyone about stupid behavior (ie; learning is what kids should be doing). Prohibit the use of photos in tthe work place. And give the kid a few suspended shifts.

There are far worse things happening after hours at fast food places.  First rule of doing stupid is no pics.  Then no one to get all fake outraged about.

Thank God we did not have computers when I was a teen (mid 1970's). I worked at a theater, got all my friends hired there, and the shiat we did would have gotten us all put away had it been general knowledge at the time. Cooking pot seeds in the popcorn popper and smoking pot behind the movie screen was bad enough.....

/also would spray window cleaner in each others drinks
