I don't get it.  If you do the OTP-ITP commute like I do every day, this isn't surprising; it is, however, embarrassing that we are unwilling to do anything about the traffic problem here.

A super store is a department store that also has a grocery store.  I don't know of any Kmart that fits that description, but I've seen Walmarts, Targets and Meijers that are these.

This is for the 40-45 wf I saw across the dinner table last night.  You: brunette Rachel-cut, 5'4", wearing a sweater/jeans, apparently like to cook.  I made eye contact as you were placing a pork tenderloin sandwich in front of this older guy I know.  I call him Dad, but you had some other weird name (John IIRC?).  I feel like we really made a connection and maybe that I've had my face on your vagina once before.  Me: 17 wm, 5'9", big dick.

Super Store are those department store and grocery store mashed together monstrosities. Think of it as a regular Wal-Mart, Target, or Kmart combined with a full sized grocery store, but the quality of fresh produce, fruit, and meat is the worst you can ever find.

That reminds me I started buying my meat at a butchers and dam it makes a huge difference in taste.

I think anyone who thinks "Missed Connections" is "people picking up chicks" has never read a Missed Connections post.

Just imagine the Forever Alone guy being so crushingly lonely that he's posting anonymously on the net asking a girl he saw once to email him.

I've never read any missed connections that didn't make Best of Craigslist, but do any of them seem purposefully vague? For instance:

"I saw you at X department store. You were (insert favorite body type here), had (insert favorite hair color here), and were wearing jeans and a T-shirt. We made eye contact, and I wish I had stopped to say hi. I felt an instant connection that I can only describe as being mystical. "

Put out something similar a couple times a month, and see what happens.

That would assume that any women read the Missed Connections, and would respond to something so vague. "Wait a minute, I have blond hair and I'm chunky! And I've been to Sears in the last month! I'd better send this stranger an email."

I've read some just for the lol-factor. Seems to be extremely lonely guys, lonely gay men trying to hook up with some straight guy they saw at the gym shower, and the cryptic airing of some dirty laundry between previously successful connections.

I read a missed connections ad where a guy wrote an epic poem about how he broke the law by driving in the HOV-3 and saw a cute girl and her friend in a convertible and kept trying to flirt with her. How both cars leap frogged over one another in traffic, dodging a patrol car who was on the look out for violators like the two of them. He wrote what sounded like a sequence in a romantic comedy complete with manic pixie dream girl and then lamented how he had to take the Key Bridge and cut their flirtation short. I thought it was kind of cute.

The rest of the missed connections were exactly how you'd imagine.
