Nice little clip...sound was horrible though.
I haven't watched the Oscars, since...The Departed won...
Nothing worth rooting for since.

No Country for Old Men (one of the greatest films of all time) won Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor in 08. I also rooted for Heath Ledger in 09 and am rooting for anything Django Unchained this year.

85 silent clips set to some pretty music, followed by several clips from each of this year's nominees. So what?

Snark noted, but I was expecting something else.

Like maybe a cleverly edited storyline or clips that kind of matched the music. I'd expect this cliched montage of obvious clip choices to play during the actual awards telecast, but this is literally just some guy copying and pasting a bunch of clips together with a soundtrack.

It would be interesting to have people of different ages mark where the movies start to become familiar and see what age is common.

You should probably look into that unhealthy need for attention on the Internet

I'd advise you do the same thing, Lor...

Since calling me out on it was obviously going to stir the pot.
Bored or something?
Really, who cares?

You're right, Wayne...No Country was nice...ok, nothing to root for since THEN!

After watching that I feel the need to watch an epic film, which is timely since I'm off sick *cough* from work today.

It's just annoying.  It accomplishes nothing except demonstrates an obnoxious need to be seen.  Really, what do you get out of saying something like that?  I am legitimately curious at this point.  Are you accomplishing something?  Do you feel satisfied in some way.

My winner for this year: Identity Theft

No, seriously though, that movie was an absolute piece of trash.

I rooted for Javier Bardem in NCfOM and for Christoph Waltz in Inglourious Basterds. Glad they both won.

You know, it might have been nice to hear THE ACTUAL farkING DIALOG FROM THE MOVIES instead of some random and obtrusive soundtrack.
