Aside from the questions, I've yet to see any compelling evidence.  Am I missing something?

Also, here in NJ no one is talking about this case.  I'm not sure if it's apathy.  But this seems to be a far bigger story for the national news media than it is for local reporters.

What, you don't trust random emails someone sent to Breitbart?  You don't think that qualifies as damning evidence of Menendez using underage Dominican hookers?

At least in that article Breitbart did enough fact checking to ensure that the Dominican Republic actually exists.

No, they just assumed it was true and got luckly.

The Dailly Caller story orignally was about an eye doctor flying Menendez down to DR and parties with underage prostitutes and the FBI investigating said claims.  Including interviews with said DR prostitutes.

The whole thing seemed like complete bullshiat.

Then:
- flights to DR (confirmed)
- eye doctor (confirmed)
- FBI investigation (confirmed)

Not proved 100% granted but he should resign on the bribes (free private flights) anyways.

He admitted to the flights and paid for the flight (so that one can go in the proven column)

He is supported by Friends of Hamas.

Amazing how these guys always have these "oversights" that they don't discover until caught.  After 30 years in elected offices, you'd think that he's have people check on anything he doesn't have to pay for that's worth more than a $5-footlong from Subway.

The real story is that yes, he took a freebie, and hoped that he could get away with it.  I'd actually respect these jerks more if they came out and admitted that.

Really is disgusting. He admitted to it, paid to reimburse but he broke the law. Jesse Jackson Jr. is sitting out in Chicago waiting to be sentenced scratching his head and asking; wut did I do different?

the only reason this even was a story and had an fbi investigation was because of a claim that he paid for underaged prostitutes which is turning out to be untrue. the free flights and stay is really just a standard thing now, unfortunately. look at rangel, he just got a slap AND easily won reelection.

Went to a bar last weekend and cover band did Pink Floyd's The Wall but changed "Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone" to "Hey, Bob Menendez, leave those kids alone."

The subject of your senator being a kiddy didler isn't really a dinner table conversation topic

Or should that be Menendezi?

For the sex with child prostitutes or accepting bribes for political favour because the latter has already been proven.

Isn't bribery sanctioned by the SCotUS by now?  Jeez.

Money is speech so bribery would now be a 1st Amendment right.

Bob Menendez was just reinforcing his friends first amendment right to buy legislation.  Nothing to see here folks.  Carry on.  Keep it moving.

mrshowrules: - FBI investigation (confirmed)

The FBI has to investigate all allegations like this, regardless if they have substance or not. An anonymous source sending e-mails to a website built pretty much for the express purpose of slandering democrats? It's still a serious charge, and they're going to see if there's any truth to it.

We've already had a leak from the FBI calling this so much bullcrap. The fact that there's an investigation only reveals that some ass made a serious accusation that the organization couldn't take lightly. It doesn't mean that there's even a semblance of truth to it.

The guy who made the emails to Breitbart refuses to talk to the FBI, they wanted to investigate, but he's refused to give them or tell them anything at all.

I'd wager he's dirty, but the prostitute thing is total bs.
