What could go wrong?

It could instigate the posting of a repeat article on the front page of Fark.com, resulting in much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

An 18-year-old Florida woman trying to make some waffles Monday night ended up in hospital after she was injured by an exploding bullet from a gun magazine that her friend left in the oven.

Who the hell uses an oven to make waffles? That's what a waffle iron is for.

We just replaced Alaya Walker's brand-X frozen waffles with a Glock 21 magazine.  Let's see if she can tell the difference.

True, but there's no reason to put a bullet in a waffle iron, and then this wouldn't have happened.

Wow! What are the chances of this happening to 2 Floridians in one day!?

2 part answer...

1. It must happen all the time there, it's FLORIDA for farks sake!

2. Yes, repeat.

Some people use an oven on the lowest setting to keep the waffles warm before serving while subsequent batches are made.

Dissecting this comment:

I put a girly magazine - His Penis
In the oven once - His hand
and things got real hot - The horrific and embarrassing trip to the hospital afterwords when he found out that, yes, the foreskin CAN tear and blister from friction.

I have a friend that used to take great pleasure in tossing shotgun shells into the campfire.   All that happens is the plastic casing melts and the primer pops.  No big deal.  But the first time you see it, you're diving for cover.

My waffle iron only makes two waffles at a time.  Before I start making waffles I pre-heat the oven to 275 so that the first two made stay warm until the last two are ready to serve.
