Reminds me of that classic song: "I wish to know, do you think you will be seeing the rain?"

Maine is a state that contributes heavily to our national security. Its largest employer is Bath Ironworks, which builds naval destroyers. You can't build a half a ship," Collins said in an interview with POLITICO.

Technically you can build half a ship, it just wouldn't float as well.
Also possible - building half as many ships.

"In my state, overwhelmingly, they want me to cut spending," Sen. Mike Johanns (R-Neb.) told POLITICO. "Nobody walks into a town hall and says, 'Mike, here are 500 projects I want you to cut.' What they're saying is, 'Get this [spending] under control.' They are very frustrated with trillion-dollar deficits."

No, but they in the abstract want you to cut the social safety net while leaving massive military jobs programs in place.  Why bother ensuring things like unemployment benefits or even money for bridge repair when we can stick an extra 300 M-1 tanks in the desert to fight a war that will never happen.

It's cheaper to put them to a desert that doesn't have a war than to one with war.

So, out of all of the politicians named in the article, here's how the senators voted and here's how the reps voted. The ones who currently oppose the sequester are listed here:

Roger Wicker (R-MS) - Aye vote
Susan Collins (R-ME) - Aye vote
Tom Udall (D-NM) - Aye vote
Lindsey Graham (R-SC) - Nay vote
Cheri Bustos (D-IL) - not in office
Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) - Aye vote
John McCain (R-AZ) - Aye vote

And the one guy who still supports it mentioned in the article, Mike Johanns (R-NE) voted for it when it was initially proposed.

I may disagree with the sumbiatch on most everything, but at least Lindsey Graham hasn't changed his story on the whole mess being a bad idea. Of course, he probably wanted the U.S. to crash through the debt ceiling.

I do not possess the ability to acquire a modicum of satisfaction.

Yes, I wish that for just one time
You could stand inside my shoes
You'd know what a drag it is
To see you
