Disney denies rumors it's making a Toy Story 4likes money

I hope they don't. 3 was the perfect ending.

I'm pretty sure this all started based on a College Humor parody poster

This. Don't make me cry again, Pixar.

Tonight we got the "Buzz Lightyear" spinoff DVD via Netflix and my son was enthralled. That makes me want another quality movie to take him to the theater to see.

"Quality" being the key word. Like everyone else has said, 3 was beautiful and a perfect ending. I like the shorts that they've come up with since, but a full movie? Don't ruin it, guys.

If you really need the cash, go for Cars 3. No one will care and you can add all the vehicles you want to market it.

If it follows the progression of the first 3, this movie will be the saddest thing in the history of ever.

As long as Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are still breathing there will be Toy Story movies.. It's a guaranteed money maker.

And yes, I cried like a bumbling baby at the end of Toy Story 3 and believe it was the best ending to animated movie ever..

I'm hoping that they decide to go in a "Velveteen Rabbit" direction for any Toy Story sequel. I need more images with which to sadness-troll people on the internet.

I'd love the characters to live on in movie shorts like the Ken and Barbie Hawaiian Vacation short.

The Toy Story trilogy was perfect and they should leave it alone. After Cars 2, I'm not that hot about Monsters U. But please, Pixar, if you are going to make sequels, make another Incredibles.

They might as well.  Pixar's golden years are behind them now anyway.  Now its going to be mostly sequels and spinoffs, and disappointments like Brave.  Disney is hiding the Cars spinoff's origins by releasing Planes theatrically as if it was created at the Disney studio and not at Pixar's Canadian studio, but the damage has already been done.  It's Cars 3, don't doubt it.  Finding Nemo, Cars, Toy Story, Monster's Inc- all of this from a studio that swore they'd never do sequels.  What a high horse they rode in on.

You are not the only one. You also have to have the state of mind of a 13 year old girl to find the movie sad.

I didn't think it sucked necessarily, but I wasn't enthralled by it. It was probably was one of my least favorite Pixar movies, but that still ranks it above many other films.

There needs to be more movies to keep it relevant for the next generation of kids. I was in a theme park with my son and they had some Hanna Barbera characters that any kid growing up in the 80's could name, but who completely flummoxed my son. Its why they keep coming out with new generations of Transformers every few years. Optimus is always a red truck, but he gets a new cartoon every few years so that the next set of 7 year old boys can get excited about it.

No, you're not.  I felt like it was a rehash of Toy Story 2 strategically designed to be manipulative rather than genuinely emotional.

Sadly, I'm starting to think this too. Also, Dreamworks have raised their game. Pixar used to be way above them, but How to Train Your Dragon is probably my favourite animated movie of the past 5 years. I loved the animation in Kung-Fu Panda. Madagascar 3 was surprisingly good (considering that I think that the 2 main characters have bad choices of voice actors).

The whole toy story concept made no sense.

I just can't get past it.

Boy did Subby bury the lead: "Finding Nemo 2 has also been confirmed for release in 2016, with the original's voice actor Albert Brooks recently signing up to reprise his role as Marlin." Noooooooo!!!!

Well, as long as Disney is more concerned about quality in their franchises and not about how much money they can make.....

So yeah, you might as well get comfortable seeing "Toy Story X" up there next to "Kronk's New Groove" and "Lion King 2.5."

The little girl is playing with Andy's toys as he gets in his car at the end.  She raises Woody hand and waves goodbye with it.

Andy then gasps a little when he sees this.

Disney is the master of children's fairy tales.
Like "The Goose That Laid the Golden Egg. "
And "The Goose That Laid some more golden Eggs. "
And "The Fattened Goose Returns, Roasted in a L'Orange Sauce, and served with a nice Fois Gras. "
And  "The Omelette That We Made from the Gooses Eggs. Part Two. "

The heaven and hell symbolism when they're heading for firey death only to be rescued by the claw of light was well done.

So long.....partner

I felt it was too "mechanical" (for lack of a better word) and didn't bring anything new to the table. I also thought the bad guys and the trash incinerator scene were made overly scary to make up for a lack of an original plot. I think the unnecessary violence and meanness were the real turn-offs for me. I really enjoyed 1 and 2, but 3 was a letdown.

I thought Hotel Transylvania (Sony Animation) was very funny and under-appreciated.  Of course, its hard to go wrong with Genndy Tartakovsky directing and Robert Smigel as one of the writers.

Instead of making a sequel, why not make some unnecessary prequel that shows Woody acts the way he does because he has mommy issues?

Toy Story 2 is the good one.  The bad guy wasn't trying to hurt anyone, he just wanted some money.  The sad part with Jessie got resolved happily.  Funnier too.  Pixar should try making a movie that entertains people without trying to emotionally manipulate them.  Oh, and no more princess movies.  The only thing Disney does perfectly is princess movies, why try to usurp that role?  Makes no sense.

I'm glad Monsters U went with the idea of a prequel instead of just continuing the existing storyline.

I'm guessing he was sucking hind tap at the lumberyard and feels sap deprived.
thus, he makes all these sappy movies.

I had read that Toy Story 4/5/6 would be different toys, different characters, different situations. Pretty much like the first three.

And yes, more Incredibles please.

The sequence where they silently convince the horse to stop struggling had my wife bawling. That was the tipping point.

And she's not allowed to watch Up anymore....that first twenty minutes wrecked her for days.
